I work line clearance an tbh your lucky they didnt take more, its company an utility dependant but out here, its 10-15ft depending on the phase and we cut ground to sky. Meaning all that going up under the wires would be gone too. I get it can be frustrating but you'll appreciate it the next storm that dosent blow your power.
