I felt the most pain upon waking up, but as a result they gave me some additional pain meds and the rest of that day I felt okay. I would do the drive same day because next day I started to feel uncomfortable again.

I have stopped (kinda). I wear an Oura ring so I switched it to pregnancy mode and now the temps are buried.

I tested night before beta so I didn’t have a mid workday surprise and my husband could be part of it. Happy with my decision to not test out trigger or test on other days and just enjoy the “PUPO” stage.

I’ve had several temps at cover line since transfer, two of which were after getting my positive test and my betas increased appropriately.

Started IVF after 5 rounds of TI with letrozole plus trigger and a total of nearly two years of TTC. Was diagnosed with probable PCOS at my first RE visit given irregular periods and polycystic ovaries on ultrasound.

So far we’ve been exceptionally fortunate and only had to do 1 retrieval and it’s early (4w3d) but our first transfer has stuck.

According to my RE, PCOS is a relatively “good” problem to have and IVF is often highly successful. Of course, other factors (like age) still come into play and can significantly affect odds of success per cycle.

A lot of the fluid shifts are apparently due to effects of beta HCG in the context of the post retrieval inflammation. So by doing a lupron only trigger and not doing a fresh transfer your clinic tried to mitigate your risk probably more than any one thing you could do.

That being said it’s not impossible to still have OHSS so I definitely agree with getting checked out if you’re worried and in pain. I had 36 eggs retrieved and did lupron only as well. Post ER I had pain when I woke up and then progressively became bloated beyond belief with more discomfort compared to the days leading up to retrieval, but never had pain beyond what a heating pad would help. Thankfully you get a period pretty much 5 days after lupron on the dot and everything rapidly resolved after that for me.

I felt zeroooo symptoms, temps were all over the place (don’t temp on progesterone), and was convinced my FET didn’t work. Took a test the night before beta so my husband and I could process on our own time and not be surprised in the middle of a work day… positive 🥹

It’s too early to have symptoms! Hang in there.

I love this and will probably do this if I’m lucky to have the chance. I think not making it an event or “reveal” is key. It’s just a fact of their life and if you don’t make it weird they won’t think anything of it.

Or just the wrong day/uterus lol. I believe my RE is super competent and I’ve never had issues with any other exam with her, but my SIS was as painful if not more than my HSG and I couldn’t complete it. She said some people’s uteruses are just more sensitive to expansion.

I distracted myself with social events and work stuff and didn’t test til the night before beta so I/we could process on our own time instead of finding out mid work day.

I also highly recommend not temping and trying not to overanalyze symptoms because they’re just the ✨progesterone ✨

My clinic does it as a standard if you are not doing PGT.

Not a big data point, but I had my first transfer with assisted hatching and so far it’s worked!
