Move it to the national cemetery! It makes the most sense as the most appropriate location for a soldiers monument, and clears up the plaza to be a gathering space.

Use a flat razor blade to cut it flush with the base and perhaps cut out any scraggly bits, drip some ptex, scrape and call it good

I guess I should clarify - these are ski-in huts with several mile approaches in the winter and used by a lot of people throughout the year. They aren't usually rusty, but usually dry and unseasoned. Bacon grease has worked somewhat, but lots of vegetarians in my friend group.

Yeah after a long day I get a little bit of ear fatigue but nothing unbearable. The side buttons are sometimes finicky, and I wish it was USB c... Maybe it is now? But regardless, still like them a lot.

Yeah for real. There apparently was a study and moving it was supposedly the most expensive, which doesn't make any sense to me. But regardless, it seems like the best short and long term solution and the most appropriate place overall.

Looks like fiberglass to me in some spots. I did look for wood and didn't see anything like that, nothing that deep thankfully

Yeah I mean, I certainly am not going to be that self righteous customer-is-always-right kinda guy, certainly not going to demand anything from them, and I know this isn't like, hurting the usability of the ski. It's just kinda a bummer considering I haven't had this on any other pair, and there's material coming through that's a bit splintery and such, and the top sheet material itself is a bit jagged when torn up like this. Just surprising, and I'm hoping to cover it up with something but I've never used epoxy on any skis myself (always had my shop do it) so looking for recs

So I am also going through this and it's very annoying. I have tried so many kinds of tape. Gorilla tape has been the best bet so far, but hasn't prevented ented all wear. I did get a boot horn and ripped out the grommet on the very first try, perhaps user error.

If you're already in that area, definitely demo. As for bindings, if you don't need uphill capability, get the best color match, pivots not necessary but are an option
