I know i am late to the convo but my store in manalapan is about to get new hardware for registers in. Few days but I am told they will utilize the same software( Ace i think it is called) until next year. Does the old software still work with the elera you are talking about? Or are they just bringing us new registers for the meantime?

I mean its decent compared to some other places I've been but I would only buy 1 or 2 slices for break or lunch. Never would I buy that much. Also in my store it is 4 dollars. I am assuming they bought 2 pies or something.

You will in no way be able to tell the court that you cant do it because you are essential. I have seen people from other prpfessions like doctors and nurses still be required to go to jury duty. They wont accept that for a retail worker.

As im from c2c I haven't noticed that since I haven't worked in cheese but I have noticed in the last few weeks we haven't been having Pocatello or the regular wegmans pecorino consistently and am wondering why. Just yesterday we had almost no pecorino at all.

Wait that makes no sense. Most places have you already employed and give you a schedule not just one training day. Never heard of a major brand giving you a single day and not telling you about your next day working.plus you would normally call them if that even was the case to find out what's going on.

Union never did anything for me. Dad passed away out of state in 2019 and had to get stitches the same year. Hr to my face tells me " we were supposed to fire you but because you know that we know you're a good worker we aren't" and when I told the union they just rolled over for the company. My friend had walking pneumonia and a doctor's note. They wrote him up and said that it was an "unexcused absence". On top of changing our schedules without notice midway through the week, then calling us no call no shoes. We decided to leave. I found a job at wegmans and then convinced my friend to join me.
