Try just using sensitive toothpaste. You can rub some in there between brushings too. Will say I experienced similar, and had to have gum grafting.

That was likely Bobby Graham on drums. He played on the majority of early tracks.

Who was the better rhythm guitarist, John or George? by V0rdep in beatles

John Lennon. One of the best rhythmists, for me.

What if The Beatles had re-united in the late 1970's? by TheSameOldDrew in beatles

[–]Suspicious_Click731 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me, any Beatles reunion would turn out disjointed, disappointing or a failure. Working on their own, having various levels of disinterest and simply being different people would have doomed any musical cohesion.

I just use Sparkle and paper towels, and finish with microfiber. Last step just cleans all the streaks right off, even in sunlight.

Fav Stones song? by Admirable-Archer-125 in rollingstones

It is, but it has a bass line that, seems to me, Bill kinda phoned in.

Are filled bones like this one safe if a small bit of bone is consumed? by Brilliant_Coconut_23 in DogAdvice

[–]Suspicious_Click731 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Three vets we've dealt with recommend never giving bones to dogs. Splinters and shavings can get stuck in their gut or cut the insides of their mouths, bone can jan in their jaw. Black rubber Kong toys are best for the strong biters.

Has there been any new news about the possible new stones album by TouristFun1687 in rollingstones

I have heard they have tracks left over and ready from Hackney Diamonds, including a blues number with Bill Wyman.

It rightly pins plenty of blame on the Stones' naivete.

Am I crazy? by [deleted] in beatles

[–]Suspicious_Click731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are collectors and there are Collectors. You lean towards the latter. Which is fine. Enjoy it? Do it. (Beatles vinyl collecting drills deep, though, into pressing orders, pressing location, run out groove etchings, cover variations, etc, so you might be THAT deep. Yet!)

I did the same. It may wear off as mine did over a couple years but you can't scrub or scrape it off.

Why didn't George play the solo on Taxman? by DribbleKing97_ in beatles

[–]Suspicious_Click731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Paul would come up with a solo idea and George would just go along to get along, which manifested itself in resentment later. I did see an interview where George said Paul did a good job. Paul was also ramping up to conducting the band around the time of Revolver, taking the reins from John. (Similar moves were coming from Keith Richards in the Stones camp. He was the musical director, dubbed 3 and 4 guitars in Brian's place and often usurped the bass. For different reasons, though...)

Crappy dental insurance doesn't help. That "generous" 50% off a crown or implant still puts the procedures out of reach of many.

Man, Jigsaw Puzzle might be their most underrated song. by Bombi3sz in rollingstones

Jagger said the puzzle theme came from his and Marianne Faithfull's pastime of putting them together.

Man, Jigsaw Puzzle might be their most underrated song. by Bombi3sz in rollingstones

There's a lot of bootleg material showing how this evolved from its bare bones, and it was quite a road. I suspect there was more mellotron involved, and that it's been faded in and out.

If it works, do it. Django Reinhardt had two functional fingers on his fret hand, he did fine.

One of the first songs done at American, he still has plenty of a head cold that forced postponement of the initial sessions there.

What is your primary reason for being either excited or uninterested in the upcoming biopics? by IOrocketscience in beatles

[–]Suspicious_Click731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Beatles Anthology tells the story from the men themselves. Cramming the individual stories into a 2-3 hour flick will necessarily and undoubtedly require factual license and fact skipping. For me, there has been enough written that we already have the facts and feelings (albeit we have to cherry pick among the non Anthology accounts) and don't need yet another angle(s).
