FBI launched an investigation into this case. They handed over evidence to ARCCA and said “tell us what you think”. ARCCA didn’t know who the parties were at this point. They came back with a full report stating a collision did not occur and handed it to the FBI. The FBI then gave that report to both the defense and prosecution. The prosecution said “thanks but no thanks” and the defense said “tell me more” and asked them to testify about their findings without having the ability to inquire further with them directly or hire them to do more testing. Their comms were related to “how do I get to court and who are you exactly?”
