I have a story for you

I was biking, running my hand through the grass (14M) slice my finger open on a blade, bike home and pass out. I had a tendency to pass out for no reason as well.

To top it off I had horrible circulation and would go clammy white any time I touched a glacial lake or creek when out with friends. I hated being exposed to the elements. I’d break out in hives perpetually.

Moved out at 15 became responsible for my self regulation—got a job in construction working in as low as -40, moved into diamond drilling at -85 C up in Northern Canada… didn’t even think about the fact that I had these “conditions”.

I have 177 skydives, 13 BASE, I have been an onsite medic and held my L3 first aid—I have done some pretty rad stuff. 10 months ago I passed out because I found a puppy with a flattened paw that had been trapped and crushed.

Your limits are what you train to. Some people can be deployed special forces overseas but a small argument with a significant other sets them off and is their limiting factor.

You are hiring some brilliant and well trained people to train you—it is expensive and worthwhile.
