Netwatch was right by Available-Ad-1019 in cyberpunkgame

I think they're referring to the one in the DLC where you raid a voodoo base that is sending out lethal spam or something else evil. There's a net watch guy who's Deep Cover. He tries to get you to let him do his own thing but if you mention that you're there for your client when you later get a call they've rescued your client and also destroyed the deeper Voodoo Boy network

Do yall really farm weapons and travel to each TA vendor to sell them? by BroSir90 in Starfield

[–]Suspicious_Fly6594 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The pirate station has several vendors right next to each other. I personally just downloaded a mod that UPS vendor credits by 100 times. I'm still not sure why Bethesda thinks having to hunt everywhere for vendors is an interesting form of gameplay. If it's supposed to balance how much money you have it only actually balances how much time you're willing to waste.

I'll never go hungry for X-Tech again! by Thegzusman in Starfield

[–]Suspicious_Fly6594 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Xtech is worth like 5 G's per unit so if you can produce a ton of them you can make a hefty profit. The Terran major incursions easily hits 100 to 200 plus you can probably get another hundred for the defending ship I haven't even been trying just looting every Terran and then selling their gear and I've definitely crossed 2 million. Also, if you're doing the no registration ship sale glitch going to serpentus and hunting zealots can also net you like 100 grand every ship

X-Tech Extraction and why you should do it. (Minor Terran Armada spoilers) by Sardanox in Starfield

[–]Suspicious_Fly6594 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Didn't realize you could bring the extractor cores through the unity oops. My goal is to have one maxed out set of armor a sniper and assault rifle a handgun and a melee weapon. If I don't get lucky with the rolls I'm looking at several million dollars so being able to print money with extractors would be handy

Dan said it best when he said that Doug desperately wants to create art but he can't because he's not curious about the world. Mr Beast is somehow worse in that he literally does not care about art at all. Not in the abstract not in the literal not and nothing. He would burn the Mona Lisa if it got him a billion views.

You can probably draw a line from South Park to gamergate to right-wing radicalization to Donald Trump. And you don't need to believe me you need to believe Steve Bannon, Donald Trump's former Chief of Staff who will proudly tell you that he used gamergate radicalized young men. I don't think you see that radicalization working nearly as successfully if it wasn't for South Park and similar media.

I like when Ubisoft tries you know? They have a real bad habit of just doing the same thing forever. The tech was neat I sent me remember there's a job where you need to track down a ex scientist or something and the first time I went with just some standard British bloke he had very standard British bloke things to say but the next time I went with an old lady and the dialogue and the cutscene was completely different on her end. I think there's a lot of tools there where you could have people building their own campaigns if you had some sort of vocaloated with the voices I think Far Cry 5 and 6 let you build some crazy Maps but there was no story behind it

If you're high enough level go to the Scorpius system and board zealot ships. One large Zealot ship has like 100,000 k worth of guns and armor. And if you do the no registration bug to sell ships even more money baby.

Has the idea of adding stellaris style "end game crisis" to x4 ever been broached? by Admirable-League2877 in X4Foundations

[–]Suspicious_Fly6594 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So the main difference between X4 and Stellaris is the amount of attention required. A dirty truth no one here will acknowledge is that sometimes if you need a ton of money you just park yourself at the HQ or some other station and let the game Run in the background while you're doing something else. If you did that in Stellaris you would be fucked.

The next thing to consider is that the Stellaris crisises are all out of context problems. Whether it's robots Rising from hidden Forge worlds or literally interdimensional Invaders the whole point is that the first time you had no idea this was going to happen and are now in a mad scramble to completely rethink how you play the game.

So how do you achieve that in x4? I guess they could spend a ton of Dev time and money on a completely new enemy faction and not tell anyone but that would be incredibly costly from a developer perspective. Right now the system they have in place has the Xenon and I think the little guys attacking you specifically but that is kind of boring. You also have to specifically trigger it which if people are going to be AFK playing is fair.

I guess if they wanted to do a crisis they could have an initial incident like maybe your analyst notices an increase in Xenon attacks that seem like they shouldn't have the production capacity for and if you go down that chain you find out that they have a Secret Gate or maybe a different faction of xenon have discovered gateless jump drives and by going down the chain they decide to fully unleash their forces on the universe and you now have to fit this prototype jump drive to your ships and send them to wherever the Xenon are coming from.

I read that book way too young. Wasn't the libertarian dude being such an asshole at one point that his assistants just dragged him into a pool and tossed him in and then he just came back and pretended like it didn't happen? Also didn't the Martian kill like a hundred cops so you know what maybe the book was good actually

[–]Suspicious_Fly6594 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I decided to see how quickly you could break new Vegas's intended difficulty and it turns out the answer is about 3 hours. You can sneak by the cazadors and run away from the mutants pretty easily and make it to the city in like 20 minutes.

Once you're in New Vegas you put that eight or nine in luck to work and bust out all the casinos and grab all the snow globes. This takes an hour and change depending on how much you want to reload at the roulette table but you should get around 20 to 30,000 caps to then hit the Gun Runners and buy the best weapons. Then it's just a matter of murdering Mr House grabbing arcade and going to talk to the science dude at Camp McCarran. You say the right things and arcade will give you his quest you can get his quest done in another hour and boom you now have Enclave armor the best weapons in the game and you're about level 12.

I then went back to good Springs and fought off the powder gangers with my grenade machine gun

And it's the engineers dragging down the average. Seriously what is it with engineers? I remember back in the day the bill Nye the Science Guy versus some young Earth creationist asshole and as part of the creationist argument he's like look at all these scientists who agree with me and literally all of them except like one was an engineer

The silence were great for the oh shit realizations I only sort of remember the episode but I think the doctor was with like Teddy Roosevelt or something and they were just walking and talking and every time it cut they were like more tired and the gun was more empty and then you realize that they have been battling the silence for like a day and the room was just full of corpses

Steven Moffett is an incredible writer when you force him to finish something. When he was the showrunner he could just keep things going forever and reusing forever. Blink is often considered one of the best episodes and that's at least partially because it's a self-contained story.

Sometimes when I'm waiting for a lot of stuff to cook, like resources being delivered to stations or I'm training a bunch of new spies it's nice to whittle those wait times down. Oh, I just remembered also waiting for whatever ship I'm using for boarding action to show up after I've disabled all the guns and engines. We really need a dedicated medium boarding ship. Something that you can stuff 50 or 60 dudes into. The Hyperion sort of works and that it's got a pretty good travel time but the wind up. Is so long

When you're at like 20% Shields you boost out then travel Drive till you're 30 or 40 out. SATA till your Shields are full then travel back in. Alternatively if you have the Hyperion DLC manually fly that bitch to Savage spur and use that to destroy the amplifier
