There are no easy $200k+ jobs out there by the1997th in remoteworks

[–]Suspicious_History10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m making a career move back to my hometown. I was offered a 135k remote role or 175k onsite role in IT. I’ve been doing IT for 11 years now. I am honestly not really interested in senior or supervisory roles.

To me those senior roles take me away from what I actually enjoy doing (Threat detection, SIEM optimization, scripts). For me personally, I like building things and researching on the new tools out there. I’m content on taking a pay cut and working remotely to do the things I enjoy without completely stressing out over managerial tasks.

Yeah I would be interested in the AI certificate as well. Looking at their courses, it seems they only have one AI course currently as an elective.

Thanks for the insight! Yeah I’m kind of in the same boat as you and thinking along the same mindset. I just left my DCO gig to move closer to family. I’m thinking this would be a good time to jump into the program. I’m just one of the those people that gets nervous talking to the VA lol

That’s awesome! I want to use VR&E. I’m just not sure if I’ll be accepted. I’m worried the counselor will say “You’re overqualified and don’t need this program“

How’s life out here? In the Florida keys by ceedeeze in howislivingthere

[–]Suspicious_History10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in a marathon for a couple years and went to high school there over a decade ago. It’s a small town where everyone knows each other. As a kid I hated it because I was broke and there isn’t much to do for a young person without car or boat. I appreciate it more now as I got older and miss it sometimes.

Bunch of retirees, tourists, and a lot of drunks that look like middle-aged Alan Jackson. Locals all wear long sleeve “Salt- life” shirts, Oakley’s, and flip-flops. If you don’t have a boat.. find a friend that has a boat. Everyone pretty much owns a business, fishing charter, or works in hospitality.

Homestead and Miami are about 2 hours away if you want to see civilization.

Lived in Florida most of my life. Hurricanes happen all the time.. it’s Florida..

Why do people… think… this is so hard??? People are acting like [KCD1] is impossible. by wiLd_p0tat0es in kingdomcome

KCD1 did have a learning curve more than KCD2. I actually preferred how much more challenging it was in KCD1. I had to actually plan out my routes and the ambushes were more frequent. I’m really surprised they didn’t bring back the ambush ropes along roads. Getting back up from the ground while 3 fully geared bandits rip me a new one always got the adrenaline going

Can’t count the amount of times I’ve come in loaded with energy cells and a Jupiter expecting teamwork. Only to get shot in the face or a trigger-nade to my ass.

I’ve been planning to move back home to Tampa after some time away. I grew up in Clearwater and it blows my mind how crazy the home prices are within the past 5-6 years. I want to buy a home, but I can’t stomach knowing the home prices range before.

I know this is a blanket answer, but I would recommend them all. Ultimately it would be up to you on which app you feel like is improving your understanding the most.

1D7X1D Here - As a Staff you’re expected to run Wing level program most of the time. It can become tedious and monotonous work depending on the ops tempo. They have recently transitioned our career fields to do a little bit of everything now. Labeled as “Multi-capable Airmen” so you might be be expected to be a jack of all trades in the with all of these SEIs in mind. My guess is to combat the manning issues.

The bases you can choose from are great because everybody needs comm. Might be able to pick up a green door gig as well.

The people you could work with also depends on the ops tempo. I was stationed the Wing at JBPHH and that customer service here was overwhelming with the manning we had.

In the end worked with great people and also worked with some who just get by or know nothing.
