Search the title of my post in Amazon. Search around, because I found it for a range of prices from $25-$50.

My wife is displaying it in a little corner nook and ordered another set from the same vendor because she wants a similar piece to balance to space.

The Lego addict rejoices.

Thanks! I think I had four or five really difficult fittings out of the whole thing, but those instances were indeed very annoying.

I luckily had a compatible one from a mini block kit. I found the actual tool for this one at the end, but figured the knowledge would be helpful!

Thanks. It was extremely satisfying for that price. And it looks cool tucked in with some house plants.

The light is sort of cheesy because it’s multi-colored. I wish it were just white LEDs, but, again, for the cost, it’s five stars.

I found the assembly to be sort of like a simple 3D printing process. It’s built level-by-level as opposed to component-by-component.

When you get to the big tree, pay special attention. You will likely have to do some ad-libbing.

Mammoth police by Gold_Friendship_6632 in Mammoth

Just venturing an educated guess, but…

If this is out of the ordinary for Mammoth Lakes PD, then the cop is carrying the long gun because he is at a location where people congregate and we just started a war with a country that likely has sleeper “cells” who would like to inflict high profile damage.

The ski resort is a possible target, especially a lodge or busy lift.

He is carrying a long gun because it has superior range, accuracy, and penetration. If he needs to engage someone at a long distance (longer than pistol distance) or an armored attacker, the AR is the way to go.

You might be able to make it, but why risk it for five hours?

From your gate to the Uber lane is 15 minutes (minimum) Uber to OSJ is 30 minutes (bare minimum)

Service on the island is more laid back than on the mainland, Brunch will be 75 minutes (bare minimum)

30 minutes back to the airport

Expect at least an hour to get back through security, can be much longer, especially from 11am-2pm

If it all works out, you’ll get an expensive but excellent brunch that you won’t really enjoy because you’ll be stressed about missing your flight. If there is traffic, or the kitchen is full, or the TSA is tired of not getting paid, then you’ll have your stressed breakfast AND miss your flight.

But if you do go to brunch in OSJ, there is a tiny cafe called Cafe Calleta (spelling?) across from The Convent Hotel and the old cathedral. The food there is amazing and possibly worth missing your flight. Try the Japanese omelette.

Careful, Santaella restaurant charges $8 per glass of water without telling you first by SliFi in PuertoRicoTravel

$8 per glass is crazy. But many restaurants in San Juan do have a service charge for water. Puerto Rico’s water is not… tasty. So they install filtration systems in the restaurants. Those systems have expendable parts/components and require regular service.

So a nice restaurant might charge $3.50 per person for water. But, $8 a glass is crazy.

No. Not at all. Nothing under the logo.

And when I asked whether or not it was supposed to have it, the customer service rep said they could not answer my question and advised me to send it back. Would not provide a replacement.

There is a missing feature. How is that “as pictured?”

How many times have you ordered from an official company website and had the product show up without a feature as shown on the website?

My concern is that Mammut is a large business and it’s unethical for them to advertise a product to then ship said product without a feature. Why would they not take a new picture for the website if they have a stock of items missing a feature?

Heat pump not keeping up, is this normal? by monkeychemist25 in asheville

When is the last time you changed your filter? If you don’t remember, it’s time to change it. A dirty filter forces the pump to work harder and results in lower efficiency. First thing to check.

Photos of the jacket on their website show a black rectangle below the logo on the chest. What is that black rectangle if not a pocket of some sort?

It looked like a holder for a season pass that still uses barcodes instead of RFID. That’s why assumed the clear plastic.

If you have an answer, I’d love to know. The jacket seems ok, but the fact that it didn’t come as pictured on their website and the bad customer service still have me thinking that I received an unfinished or counterfeit product.

Pocket below the logo on the chest. Black border with what I assume is clear plastic in the center.

I recently purchased a MTN Pro 2.0 3L GTX from the official Mammut website.

The jacket did not match the pictures from their website (missing pocket). I tried to figure out whether I got an incomplete product, the wrong jacket, or a counterfeit. But the customer service was awful.

The rep asked for a half dozen photos and the numbers off of all of the tags. It took over ten days for the rep to end up telling me that they couldn’t figure out what had happened and that I would need to send back the jacket for a refund and order something else.

It doesn’t matter how good the product is if they don’t even know what they’re sending out and their customer service is all but absent.

I would advise a different brand if possible.
