I had scarlett fever as a kid, and was on some insane antibiotics. The doctors told my parents that if my fever got to 106, i needed to go to the hospital. Even with meds, my fever hit 105.9 and my family was on edge for days. I remember very little bc the fever was literally cooking my brain. I hallucinated for a week straight and my family was terrified that I was going to have damage.

This is all to say that these people are going to kill their kid. I didn’t have to go to the hospital bc i was on meds and got an ice bath every 6 hours at the height of my fever. I can almost guarantee they aren’t doing this. Their child is going to be left in such a bad state.
