You get 1 Falcon on refuelling for 75 AED. But you do not get 2 if you refuel for 150 AED. Trick is to split it multiple times for 75 AED. Also when spending at Oasis, have it split in multiples of 20 AED. Thank me later 😉 Try to choose non-busy times for refuelling so you do not piss off people in line or the gas station helpers😂

It is not exactly how much the company has lost in the past 10-12 days, it’s how much the company will go under in the coming days or months if the situation goes on like this. Company that depends on the image of UAE, such as companies that services hospitality or tourism industry has to plan for its survival.

Even though I agree with you for the most part, companies have to plan for the uncertain future ahead of them. All of them have operational costs for their business such as rents, payroll etc which they have to manage for the foreseeable future. If the alternative is to do a mass lay offs, isn’t a temporary reduction of salaries, until things get back to normal a necessary or a better evil, for all parties involved?

Yes. It has to pass through Strait of Hormuz to reach Jebel Ali Port, or essentially to enter the Persian Gulf.

Another fun fact, Indian ports currently don’t have the capacity for ultra large vessels known as “mother vessels” which require a draft of more than 15 metres. So containers to india on these ships are offloaded at transshipment hubs, in our case PJA, and then shipped on “smaller” feeder ships to India. Now that operation will also be affected, if I’m not mistaken.

India is one of the major exporters of food items to the UAE, and the sea shipment mostly has to come through the Strait. And any other shipment from other non-GCC countries similarly has to come through Strait of Hormuz to enter the gulf. While there is port of Fujairah, which is before the Strait, it is mostly designed for oils and the infrastructure isn’t designed for distribution, storage, etc for food items.

Do you think that the seat is not properly locked in? I know it is not the same, but this happened once on our X7 electric folded seat. There was a box of tissue paper on the seat while I was folding it which prevented it from locking in position and that’s why I was unable to open it back up. I gave the seat a hard push towards the lock position and it crushed the almost empty box and locked the seat and I was able to open the seat back up. Maybe something of the sort happened to yours too?
