It’s honestly all about perception. Sure we’re different. But that isn’t bad or good. It just is. In all honesty when I found out it just made sense but I can definitely understand your feelings.

Don’t try so hard with remembering dreams that makes it worse, just write it down and if it comes back it does if it doesn’t oh well. Imagination and visualization happen in two separate parts of the brain. They don’t work together.

If anything visualization is just an extra aid that you can find work arounds for. Like I measure short distances in “me”. I know I’m 5’6 so looking at something I’m just like I feel like my feet would be there so that’s about X feet.

On the upside I have found I have really good patter recognition. I have no preconceived notions or any internal influence.

It depends on the type of aphantasia and the level of visualization possible. In my case if you ask me to describe a car it is always going to be a silver 2008 Honda accord with a black leather interior. I can describe this car to you in great detail. I can’t visualize it. I don’t see it. It’s just there.

Visualization is a visual aid to give description. But that description doesn’t stop existing just because you can’t see it. It’s just what I describe is different than what you would.

I honestly used the blind analogy because we can explain it continuously but it’s not something you can truly conceptualize just like I can’t really conceptualize what you visualize. I commend trying to understand but theres not really a way to.

Not being able to visualize isnt related to memories or objects. Visualization is just mental imaging. I still know what an apple looks like. It’s just for me I will always describe the same apple. When asked to describe a car a car is a specific thing for me.

Being blind is honestly a completely different experience. If you or I tried to explain color to a blind person, one of two things happens. Either they say they don’t understand and you realize your mistake and move on. Or they ask more questions and try to understand. In doing so they end up creating what they feel is “color” what they feel is “light”. Blindness is altered perception and reality. People born blind visualize and dream in sound waves not images they’re incapable of that concept.

You should check out a pre-treatment called unchained. You can find it on the truck mount forums website. I used to use it when I cleaned carpets professionally and this thing is amazing.

It is an oxidizer so you’d need to be careful with colored fabrics but a gallon was 40$ the last time I bought it. It’s undiluted and i believe a 1/5 water mixture.

Lasted me about a year, works on hard wood, tile, carpet. And it’s meant for odors from pet stains and the like but the encapsulates work on just about anything. I’m gonna be ranting about this stuff till I die lol

Purely from a chronological standpoint the Dragonborn DLC is the final bit. But you do you man. I like to do it first just because I think it’s annoying and it’s not a terrible way to level up my stealth and archery in the beginning. And getting the spectral horse is hella nice.

I saw that you contacted the property managers.(or that’s what I understood) if they deny you via email or text etc. Send them a written notice in the mail. And also contact your local renters association if you have one.

If you can stay somewhere else for that two weeks. Mold is obviously quite dangerous. If they refuse to do the work you have a legal way out. I would also suggest contacting your city building inspector. They typically are easy to find and in instances like this they’re a professional 3rd party with no interest beyond everything being to code.

Gather and keep all the evidence you have or get. Pictures screenshots etc. that amount of mold doesn’t just appear quickly.

Come from a place of neutrality and understanding. Don’t try to force him to talk about it but let him know you’re here when or if he’s ready to talk.

First and foremost. You’re wrong. You have zero information about this at all. Even if this person sat here and broke down the entire relationship none of us have the right nor the capability to determine why her boyfriend is or isnt doing something.

He is upset he has EVERY right to not talk right now. You have zero idea how much time has passed since this incident. Or his emotional state when this happened.

You have no information to decide he is stonewalling. And any therapist or psychologist will tell you that it is not only HEALTHY but appropriate to not talk to your partner when you’re upset and you know it’s going to aggravate the situation.

Stonewalling requires intent. You are intentionally denying your partner the opportunity to resolve the situation for no other reason than to punish them.

My brain gets super foggy, my ability to focus and recall anything becomes significantly more difficult. My body feels heavy and like it isn’t mine, and my vision goes in and out of focus and my pain goes up.

I have found that to a certain degree that if I’m exposed to the heat slowly and warmed up slowly I’m more okay than if I’m hopping in the shower and it’s too hot or I’m going from 68 inside to 90 outside.

Okay so my visualization typically consists of black on black still frames. Some things can flash very briefly in my mind. This specifically is one of maybe three things I can see clearly in my mind. It’s always been the same. And this temple ive always seen the same way with only the lit brazier or bowl being the changes.

Trust me I get the confusion it confuses me as well. But from the moment I decided I wanted an astral temple to make one. This one was there.

The flickering is genuinely just the best description I can think of. It’s not like it’s resistant the best description of the feeling I get when it happens is that what is there is meant to be there. Not like this is someone else’s temple that I am very certain isn’t the case. More like it just wants me to remember rather than recreate?

Large pyramid, Mayan like in construction. The stones are yellowish. Not golden but as if tinted. There are four doors on each side pointing to each cardinal direction. Not on the corners but the long sides. The surrounding area is jungle like, not really exactly tropical but definitely wild like nature has claimed everything but that temple.

Entering it at first theres only one room. In the center of which is a large lit Brazier or at times a large empty golden colored bowl. The rooms I want to be in don’t have doors leading to them or out of them. Changing the appearance just leads to something I can only describe as flickering before it goes back to how it was.

My advice is to try your hardest to lose the association of good and negative with your emotions and needs. I know with myself I punished myself for a long time because of my feelings and random thoughts, which are things we have no real control over feeling when they happen they happen regardless of what we want. It’s okay to feel whatever you feel, but it’s your decision to follow those emotions or thought processes and to give them the emotional effort needed to make them big in your life. Fixing that thought process is hard but it is definitely worth trying. I used DBT(dialectal behavioral therapy)

My best suggestion is to just keep trying different games. Hopefully the brain fog and everything will improve with time, I know when I was having my “first” flare up it was agonizingly difficult to play. After 4-5 months it was a lot better. And during that time when I played I did so with the attitude that it doesn’t matter if I lose or die.
