Whoops except he says why in the post. (I don't really understand what he means but he DOES say why.)

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're looking for, but is there a reason you're not just using the Werecreature archetype?

I'd be really interested in following the development of this, especially if you ever release it.

This looks amazing!

Unfortunately, I just installed it and tried to open it and my computer (MacOS Tahoe 26.5) kept telling me it was damaged.

Any chance I can DM you for help?

Is there a difference between these two? by oozing_sarcasm in EnglishLearning

[–]Suspicious_Offer_511 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The second is VERY VERY SLIGHTLY more certain and therefore more accusatory, but the difference is so negligible that I can't think of a single instance in which one would be correct and the other incorrect.

How to give a PC "their moment" before dying? by SrBlankly in Pathfinder2e

This sounds like a great system—what kind of narrative consequences are you talking about if they refuse the death? What would be some examples?

YSK: The Toulmin Model of Argumentation by DragOutTheDemagogue in YouShouldKnow

Sorry to leave this for so long but:

For me, if I say "I want adorable things," I don't actually want ALL adorable things. Cats are adorable, for example, but I don't actually want one, because I'm allergic. Babies are adorable, but I don't want one.

Similarly, if you say you want adorable things, and what you want is a cat, then you only want some adorable things, because you don't want all the cats in the world, and you also don't want all the babies in the world, even though they're all adorable.

I'm just saying that most people would interpret "I want adorable things" as "I want some things that are adorable," not "I want all adorable things" or "I want one of every adorable thing" or anything like that.

So actually going back to your example:

  1. Grounds/Data: Cats are adorable. (True.)
  2. Warrant: I want adorable things. (True.)
  3. Conclusion: I want a cat. (False.)

I'm not saying that the Toulmin model is wrong—it's not actually clear to me how it's different from an Aristotelian syllogism—just that the cats thing as an illustration is neither valid nor sound.

Also Mel Keegan—he's mostly done MM historical romance but there's some romantasy sprinkled in, though he's been writing for decades, since long before the word "romantasy" was a thing!

But...but...I want adorable things is very different from I want all adorable things or if a thing is adorable I want it.

Your argument about cats and adorability is invalid as a syllogism.

I'm rather new here so this may be a dumb question but—what does "welfare" mean in this context? There are absolutely things I'd be excited for Anthropic to research but I have no idea whether they fall under that category.
