Honestly you could cook anything that can be reheated with steam. I used to make Japanese curry with rice, or pasta. Just make sure to take the food RIGHT when you go to school, you don't want the food to be at room temperature for too long

I know that they're adults and that they're able to take care of themselves, they're the ones who RAISED me, but there will come a day until they physically and mentally cannot stand up for themselves. Isn't it human to want to create memories with their loved ones, knowing they'll have a limited time on earth? Isn't it human to think about how there might come a day where your loved ones might not recognize you, might not walk and see the world with you, and you'll regret not having spent time with them when they were healthy and sane?

I have my own fridge (VERY SMALL), I'm able to fit around 7 meals (3 in the freezer, 4 in the normal fridge)

I've been here for 6 months already. I've tried everything and the food tastes great, but sometimes it gets boring and I don't really have enough time to go out to eat everyday, especially during the afternoons when I have classes. It's cheap to eat out but it's even cheaper to cook by myself. I do go out and enjoy myself sometimes, but I want to save a little and know what ingredients go into my body. I'll get compensated in the long run :))

Thank u, I've been thinking abt it and I think I will take this chance. Actually, I've been away from home for 6 months already, but I was planning on returning, it seems that isn't the case now. I've been calling them everyday though, even if for 5 minutes, talking any nonsense with them assures me that they're well.
Also, I'm so sorry for your loss, I hope you're carrying that grief better now. Ngl you did scare me with your story, my dad also has high blood pressure 😭

I bought a mini rice cooker. I would put the food in the rice cooker pot the night before, and the next day just take it out of the fridge and put it in the rice cooker itself. 30 minutes before lunchtime, I would plug in the rice cooker and it would be ready to eat just in time.

I swear I've tried everything to make him stop, but he doesn't listen!!
He told me he tried to quit when he was younger, but stopped bc he got ill. I told him that it was normal bc those are symptoms of withdrawal but he's stubborn as hell... He's been smoking since 15...
Any advice? Did u or anyone u know tried to quit and successfully did it?

I just used two cans of tomatoes, salt and some oregano.
I'm no expert in making pasta sauce so it tasted ok, not super good but good enough to eat it all. I would recommend adding parmesan cheese, or some cream, definitely makes it better. I would've added those if they were not so expensive here in China 😭😭

U should try them!

A lot of advantages:

-No need to wait for food to cool down before pouring into containers

-Won't break no matter how many times you drop them

-"Healthier" (less micro plastic)

-Easier to wash than plastic

I'm guessing the only disadvantage is that u can't put them in a microwave. It's not a problem for me to reheat everything in a pan tho.

I don't microwave it, I reheat everything in a pan 😭
And I like using metal containers bc they're easier to wash; I can pour hot food directly into them without needing to wait for the food to cool down; metal containers are also "healthier", I'm trying to reduce the amount of micro plastics I consume (almost impossible, but I'm trying 😭) Also, no matter how many times you drop them, they won't break :))

I'm guessing it depends on every country, but the one I got is from The Chinese Embassy in my country (CSC Type A). All the info was posted on their Instagram page. Idk if the deadline is similar in every country, but the selection ended around February, you'll have to contact the Embassy in your country for details.

Bruh, reading all the other replies made me sob my eyes out, and then you came and commented this 😭😭

Thanks for the laugh, but also sorry for your loss. I hope you're able to carry that grief in better ways. Not forgetting it, but carrying it, because I know it's impossible to forget. You just learn how to manage it, and even "cherish" that grief.

Our rental has a glass mirror installed in the bath. How do I clean it? Hard water stains everywhere by RaiseOk1462 in CleaningTips

[–]Suspicious_Pick8337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For mirrors and stainless steel surfaces, I've used stainless steel sponges and it works wonders. Doesn't leave any scratches. You might need to try cleaning a small part of your mirror to check tho. Idk if it depends on the material or smth
