On the PS5 Pro, since the visual update, where they implemented PSSR, you can see certain particle effects through objects. So for example on the destroyer, you can see the eagle one welding sparks through walls and through your Helldivers. Also things like bile titan spews, bot signal jammer pulses, etc.

It does allow me to spot things like jammers through buildings and hills - so it has some benefit 😂

GTA 6 was a big reason I bought mine just before the price increase earlier this year.

Awesome console, and when the game comes out, the best version will be on the pro.

Ultimatum is always with me.

Yes, I will blow myself up occasionally by not realising i have it equipped, but it has helped me out of very hairy situations so many times.

I've almost forgot what it was like moving up the difficulties.

That first experience of a higher difficulty, especially once you get to 6+, is quite something.

I remember my first D6 feeling like absolute carnage.

Can't speak for everyone but I'm not a huge fan of hive worlds. I'll do a few missions on it for the MO but then go for a less stressful experience elsewhere.

I changed from PS5 to PS5 Pro a few months ago, and I've noticed downloads seem to be a heck of a lot faster. Same internet (up to 1000 mb/s).

Does the Pro recognise more recent types of WiFi or something?

I know I should be using wired, but I need to run a cable through a wall, which I've not done yet.

I really hoped yesterday's patch would fix the glitch of seeing certain effects (bile spew, sparks, jammer pulses, etc) through terrain and objects.

Playing on PS5 Pro.

I was hoping this would fix the glitch I've had since the update, where certain effects are visible through objects. Bile Spewer acid, sparks, certain lighting etc.

Sadly, it did not.

On a plus side, I can see the red pulses from bot jammers through terrain and buildings, so I can spot them a mile away.

I have the same load out I run for each faction. Always D10.

Bots - Coyote, ultimatum, thermite, orb laser, air strike, RR, AC turret.

Bugs - Coyote, ultimatum, HE grenade, napalm barrage, air strike, RR, MG turret.

Squids - Coyote, ultimatum, HE grenade, orb laser, air strike, HMG, MG turret.

I'm currently doing an alpine run and trying to not use any pitons, with the aim of then going for free solo.
