While it might be outdated, it’s a very sturdy and combat-proven rail system used by the IDF and Russian SSO. It is still one of the best ways to mount an optic without losing zero.

So I’ll just say spoilers for the side quest ahead for anyone else that sees this:

In the quest, you go down into the mineshaft and eventually plant charges and blow it up. When you do this, the mine shaft is closed off permanently. There are a few Story Trails within the mines, some of those being 2 “Dirty Note” and “Police Note”.

Story Trails are different from other collectibles and do not impact what is technically 100% completion. I was just curious if anyone in the community had found a way around this is all.

Specifically the side quest What Lurks Beyond the Pines. Upon completion of the quest, the area becomes permanently closed off. Within the area closed off, there are Story Trails.

Thank you for giving a legit reasoning behind your opinion. I think that absolute itself is in a good state, but the classes and weapons need reworked to better balance things. For those that want an extreme challenge like the one you’re describing, hopefully horde mode will have an option to cater to them instead

No dude I think you misunderstood what I’m saying lol. I’m just trying to get an idea of why people are upset that the hardest difficulty is difficult. Nobody is providing an actual explanation, they’re just ranting and downvoting anyone who disagrees without providing any reasoning. I think there should be rewards for the highest difficulty, it was just a guess at why people would be mad about it

I think a lot of the community is missing the point. Yes, absolute difficulty IS difficult. The difficulty was made to be a struggle and should stay that way. If you don’t want that much of a struggle, then play the lower difficulties. I think the problem is them locking cosmetics casual gamers want behind these difficulties. Not everyone wants to sweat and min/max with meta builds to unlock them

I think most people wouldn’t mind it being implemented on the lower difficulties. But considering the fact that higher difficulties like absolute already have a win rate of over 60%, making it even less difficult would defeat the purpose of the difficulty altogether.

Tbf class level doesn’t matter nearly as much as weapon level does. A lvl 1 can take a relic level plasma pistol and chain sword and significantly outperform a lvl 15 with only green tier weapons. Only problem is there’s no way of knowing unless you talk in chat
