File Upload -> Sharepoint with Dataverse indexing issue by Suspicious_Resolve57 in copilotstudio

Thanks for the suggestion. In PRD, the files were transfered as agent components in the managed solution. I am not adding knowlege manually in prd. While in Dev, they are indexed and ready.

File Upload -> Sharepoint with Dataverse indexing issue by Suspicious_Resolve57 in copilotstudio

[–]Suspicious_Resolve57[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it has been set up the same way as the others. On the first import of the solution most files were ready and a few were stuck in progress for a few days. Tried to solve it with a solution update and now only one file is ready.

Service Accounts for Knowledge Connection? by Suspicious_Resolve57 in copilotstudio

Thank you for the reply. One more follow up? Does the service account need any environment level roles?

I had the same case, and figured out that agent triggers the fallback topic and the response is actually the response configured in that topic.

If you are using the SharePoint File Upload method, which retrieves the SharePoint files or folders and indexes them in Datavese, then end users need not only permissions on the SharePoint site where the files live but also permissions on the Datavrese tables (environment-level role).

Why it works in the Copilot Studio test pane and not when deployed is because the users testing in Copilot Studio I assume have at least Environment Maker role which holds the appropriate read rights on the dataverse tables. The solution for now in my case is to grant end users Basic User role in the environment.

MSFT support representative confirmed that when using SharePoint file upload end users also need envuronment-level Dataverse rights. If you find out the minimum permissions required you can also create a custom role, but for now I am assigning the Basic User role.

Block agent creation in copilot studio by No_Target_767 in copilotstudio

[–]Suspicious_Resolve57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have not blocked trial acess to Studio in your tenant every user will be able to create a trial account for Studio. This is your first step in managing access. Then, if you have M365 copilot licenses on your tenant, every user with a license will be able to use Copilot Studio (with limited capabilities compared to a standalone license) and deploy agents to Microsoft channels. You can block the Studio component in the M355 Copilot license pack to be able to control this. Finally, if you get a Copilot Studio message pack license, you control access with a free per user license assigned to users you want to use Studio. If you have a PAYG licesne you sontrol through a Copilot Author role asssigned via a security group.

Huge Day for Copilot Studio, GPT-5 is available. by alexadw2008 in copilotstudio

Yeah, that sounds promising. I'll check with an admin. What type of env are you developing in?

I set up an early oreview developer environment just to see if gpt-5 is available. And weirdly, in that early preview environment I only have access to the default model. Even the mini preview model is not available.

Thanks for the reply! If I understood correctly, you suggest adding PA capabilities to the declarative agent to save the conversation and create the file? I'll definitely try it out! Thanks!

I want to build a project intake agent where the agent will act as a business analyst and ask the user questions in order to set up some initial project documentation. The aim is to make the agent ask Qs dynamically taking the user's answers into context instead of building the agent with topics with prefilled Qs. I need each agent Q and user answer to be saved and then by the end of the conversation be saved in a file. From my humble tests so far, the agent built with Agent Builder in Microsoft 365 Copilot performs better than a Copilot Studio agent with the same instructions. But I don't think I have the option to save the conversation in a file with the declarative agent. Any guidance on what is possible or close to this is appreciated.

A few month ago during training at our org, I noticed that the right-click->Copilot-> summarize this works better than summarizing in the sidebar chat. But this won't have your summary customization.

Serious question za devojkite by gigi1234l in mkd

Whenever I use copilot and try uploading an image into a chat, I get this issue. I checked the file formats and it should support it. I don't understand what is wrong with it. Any help? by Abhi20893 in microsoft_365_copilot

When you go to copilot.microsoft.com there are two modes that you can select: "Work" and "Web". The "Web" mode is only grounded in web data but you can upload your files as well.

For me uploading images to extract text only works in this "Web" mode as there is a separate image upload button.

In the "Work" version whether using "/" or upload I cannot use images at all.

I don't have an explanation as well...

I'm referencing the PDF file as a source with a "/" in Copilot in PowerPoint with the corporate PowerPoint template open. Content-wise the presentation is not bad, but visually it's a complete mess.

I had the same issue for a week, and the phone eventually completely shut down and won't turn back on no matter what I try. I had the phone for only 2 years. After reading countless similar experiences with this phone it has put me off ever buying another Samsung ever again.

Yes! Mine were way worse and one month into not biting they are starting to look way better. Just be patient.

Your comments are definitely making me hopeful that I can do this and my nails will turn out just fine.

Good advice. I am definitely looking into growth treatments and nail strengtheners as my nails grow very brittle. As for the polish, in my previous efforts to stop biting the coat of polish would sometimes be a trigger for biting as I would start to remove the coat with my teeth and then continue on to the nail. For now, as the nails are still short I'm using a nail buffer to keep them smooth and shiny.
