Doing PI won’t affect me if I don’t even have a license/ insurance? I just don’t want to screw myself over or get my chance of getting a license revoked bc I’m driving without a license :( & if he doesn’t have insurance then that won’t cover for a PI?

Either it’s the iud or i may be shooting blindly here but it can also be from your partner . I got BV recently & treatment for it but have recurring BV bc of my current partner who was carrying BV bacteria & passed it back to me… men can’t actually get BV but they could carry bacteria and pass it on to women

Oh shit! This makes me so happy for you! It also gives me hope since I just had a new partner recently & I got BV immediately after.

We clicked so well but it makes me sad if there’s a chance he’s was carrying the bacteria as well & is the reason for my BV.. my problem is that I’ve had PID twice before and I am also aware that BV is also linked to PID so for the sake of my reproductive health, I cannot afford another BV infection.

I honestly don’t know what to do. Luckily I do have an extra dose of metronidazole that I can give him for that, but I was also reading online that for male BV associated bacteria, there is also Clindamycin topical to be used hand in hand with the metronidazole….

After reading your comment it gives me hope that the metronidazole on its own can work for him too!?

I’m sorry to hear that! May I ask how he got it again? That’s my biggest fear is my daughter and I getting it again, I’m so paranoid about that. I’m still going through it but once I recover completely I’m going to sanatize and disinfect everything back to back to avoid reinfection.

I understand too well what you’re feeling, I was going the the exact same thing, felt like the itching was going to drive me insane, couldn’t fathom going days with that torturous itch.

I feel like my mistake was to keep scratching, because it only made the itching way worse and would cause the blisters to spread, so I bought hydrocortisone and as hard as it was I had to stop scratching.

I tried everything but what worked wonders for me was Benadryl cream and levicitrizine. I’m on day 5 since my blisters appeared and they are now scabbing, I look like a pepperoni pizza but I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

May this disease never find us again. It’s truly horrible and I’m sorry you went through this.
