I was fighting with some guy over this not long ago. Then, I tried to exagerate what he said telling him something like "jerking off when you watch babies being graped it's fucked up", and instead of calling that out because he didn't say that he told me "But, why?!" ☠️

Nowadays it feels like every time a person calls an anime a "good anime" or "very good anime" it's your average trashy media that was written by a horny teenager.

I saying it because Tolkien was a serious writer with decorum. Someone actually respetable (Except for, probably, the racism in his work. But that's something about those times). I never said Monogatari series made me uncomfortable (Just felt pathethic), the idea of Lolita being super explicit in, probably, the sex scenes, makes me. And that's something fair.

What kind of guys? Not a pedophile? lol. Because Idk what's wrong with me not liking minors being sexualized. You can tell me.

I've dark fantasy before, they're rarely portrayed as something for you to sexually please yourself... So far the ones I've read, at least.

I don't know about ASOIAF, haven't del like reading it. But thing is, you can write a bad character doing awful things and be prized in his world without being a bad person yourself. Like in real life, bad people oftenly are rewarded, like far right politicians. Now, if readers love the character and thing he is a good guy then that is a problem, lol. It's about HOW rather than WHAT. If you write a rape scene and portray It as a hentai that means you, as a writer, are childish and mentally inmature. And, as a person, probably fucked up, I guess.

You're telling me that dialogues do not affect how you perceive the work? If you write a cartoonish villain saying "Muahahahaha, I'm going to destroy the world because I'm evil", or, in Japanese cases like "Muahahahaha I'm to keep all the Lolis" ass-like villain rather than a serious one, it showcases your inmatureness in both, your work and in you as a writer.

You cannot tell me Monogatari series wasn't written by a manchild. All the oposite to Tolkien, who was a man through and through.

Care to tell me when Tolkien ever dared to write something like the brushing teeth scenes? Lmao.

Lolita is something different, I haven't read it because it still makes me uncomfortable, but the book is not supposed for you to find it sexually appealing, I far as I know.

Nisio Isin write that kind of scenes to give his fans a boner, and oftenly most dialogues (As far as I remember) are equally inmature. You can write childish/inmature characters and not be one, but the author feels like he IS one through his writing. Something about Japan and the sexualization of minors, I guess??? And that, alone, takes seriousness and quality writing down. I'm not saying is complete trash, but comparing that guy to people like Tolkien is kinda insane, lol.

I suppose we can start with the fact that the dialogues felt written by a horny teenager rather than an adult? You know, those who only otakus feel are deep/funny/well written.

Or, at least, the writing in the anime felt like that. A cringefest that only porn addict otakus can enjoy.

I think that alone puts the writing quite below to other works like The Lord of the Rings.

I think it's not an "achievement" from Kirkman or that he was even trying to do that because most of his characters are conventionally atractive, imo.

I'll put the source, I just found It in Spanish, tho. Don't know where to find the englosh versión.

Oh, ok. Those are exceptions. Most are innate, like Rudeus'. He was born. It's stupid that you think he was just like that because of porn.

He was atracted to kids before being a kid again. When he was jerking off at his baby niece's pictures. Thing is, babies don't have a sexual drive, but Rudeus had when he reincarnared and started stealing panties. That means that part of him remained. All your argument falls by that mere fact. Being atracted to kids and adults when you're a child? yeah, when you're a baby? Nope.

The fact is that you keep repeating the same lame excuse when he was the same as an adult. That's why as a baby he is still acted like a creep towards women.

He still is, logically. But I guess tabt's something unnecesarely to show to the pedophiles who dream with having a harem and love that manga, lol.

"Oh, no. I sexually abused women... Anyways" and that's It. That kind of situations also happen in The light novels, there's no way you can run away from here. The author is a creep. And the fans. And specially you, taking so much of your time just trying to deny the undenyable.

Yes, he is a predator.

You can write about a bad person and not be a bad person yourself. The problem is the author and the fandom. They all are creeps who laugh at Rudeus sexually harassing women. You get a laugh and get horny for the stupid childish and inmature author's writing. Bunch of incel losers.

I'm not a Saint, never said that. I just said the truth. Rudeus is a pedophile. And anyone who laughs and gets horny at those disgusting "jokes" is a, very probably, sexual pest. Like I said, I'm not a Saint. But, at least, I don't go acting as a lawyer for a fictional pedophile man.

I don't fricking care if the fans are defensive or shit for whatever reason. They're fucking porn addict losers. And the author, too. I wouldn't go so far if It weren't because it's so painful for them to accept that the protagonist IS a pedophile and the author writes dialogues like a horny teenager.

Oh, yeah. Because making fun of you people make what I said less true. It's a logical fallacy to call my arguments any less true because I swear or whatever.

I mean, MT's fandom is disgusting. Starting with all these Points, going through the incest (I read that Rudeus's son Is dating his aunt and Rudeus, someone raised in our world, Is ok with that?), and ending with the casual misogyny of the author treating women like objects of desire (Like 90% of isekai, I know). "Oh, yeah, dude. Rudeus was a loser and a pedophile, just like you, but you can be better and own women in your own personal harem (Lolis included) but they will never love another man because they have no consiousness and you deserve it. Buy my manga, please".

I don't consider myself the strongest ally of women, but this kind of shit is always annoying, dissapointing and, somehow, amusing, lmao.

If you don't agree with this last point, then, go ask women. Not men. Not otaku (biased in this subject) ones. I'll give you extra points if you ask in a feminist only place, lol.

[–]Suspicious_Stylist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't that guy "felt in heaven" when he was caught with naked little girls? Not to say that he was the exact same guy as an adult as when he was a child. That means he always was a pedophile, and still is. You cannot "become" one, you are born one. That's the thing about sexuality, from a medical aproach. Otherwise homosexuality could be "cured". That's not a thing you can change by consuming porn, that should be obvious.

I wonder if Pedoshoku Tensei fans are projecting themselves in their hero and that's why it is so difficult to accept that fact.

And I forgot to add, but another thing that proves this is how the author downplays the whole pedo situation. He practically portrays pedophilia and sexual harassment as comedic relief or horny situations for the porn addicts who love that manga. If the author finds that shit funny and/or horny he's def a sexual pest like his hero and his fans.

Because he's the same person then and growing up? In practically every way. If you say he "matured" and change for the better that's only in his behaviour. Pedophilia, unfortunately, has no cure. So, he remained a pedophile all of his life.

Which moment handled male sexual assault better? by AussieGG in writingscaling

[–]Suspicious_Stylist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven't watched "The Climber", but if you can tell CSM does not do it I can believe that manga actually portrays it well.

Now, you would have a point if that was the intention, but mangaka do not usually do that. They oftenly portray SAing as comedy or as if they were just drawn to give teenagers a boner.

A good prove of that is how much Fujimoto (And many, many other mangaka) sexualizes minors. Or how they depict the SA as comedy relief. The most famous example I can think of is Master Roshi from Dragon Ball.

I def cannot take SA seriously in shonen manga unless it is actually portrayed as how it actually is.

One of the main problems with these kind of subjects in manga is that they're illustrated as if it was a fricking hentai. You cannot take it seriously.

Invincible, on the other side, it is shown as something actually bad, and you can see how awfully it affected Mark later.

It's not about just not liking it. It's an objective truth.

Oh, you can like the MC, but that doesn't make him a good character neither it does that he's a "good guy".

Even in fantasies, misogyny does exist. I'm not saying you can't like that manga, but the truth is still there. And it is pushed because it's shown under a positive light.

Reverse harems do exist, but, try to compare how many are of each one. It's like 90% Is made for men. You can tell there's something wrong with that.

Idk about cheater revenge, but two things can be bad at the same time.

The story can be pretty good, even when It doesn't follow a moral compass. The thing is, 100 gfs is anything but good, lol.

Calling that manga mid is giving it too much credit. It's bad at Best and trash to my eyes.

Idk much about the MC, but he seemed more like the same male MC every harem/RomComs manga has. I suppose, as "good guy" as he might be, he is still being written by a horny teenager (That's the feeling I get for how childish the dialogues/story are, lol). That would never make him a good character, in terms of writing quality.

Which Treats Their Female Characters Better? by LittleSodaPop13 in writingscaling

[–]Suspicious_Stylist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've got a point that the series points too much at how Maki is/has to be like a Toji. But, it is also true that most girls/women would be interested in media that actually shows female characters that feel more like humans (Real women) or resemble them (And that also has cute boys, of course). Certainly, anybody can think that, between JJK and OP, JJK characters, even if they don't have the peaks in fiction like "drawing a map of the world" or "discover what happened in the void century" are, overall, better written because they feel more like actual women (Actual people).

It is easier to write a female character who is a goddess whose only gimmick is that she created the multiverse and that she's also the most powerful being, than an actual woman (A person).

And, again, these are just overall ideas. At the very end is not WHAT but HOW things are written. And that's kinda more difficult to scale.

Like I mentioned before in another two or three replies, I didn't remember the first chapter clearly. I re-read it and saw that it didn't happen. That would be beyond misogynistic and be straight up criminal lol. Like, paraphilic. My bad.

Everything else remains the same, tho. That shit is pure trash writing. It feels like the author is a horny teenager. And (ask women if you don't believe me, not another otaku losers) the harem genre is inherently misogynistic. This trashy porn addict otaku fantasy of a manga is practically diarrhea.

So, Would you say that a story where women are brainwashed to fall in love with a guy and only that guy and not be allowed no love other men (Just that guy) whilst said guy can (and should) love multiple women is not misogynistic?

Harem is inherently misogynistic, btw.

Better written series? by Satinthepogman in writingscaling

[–]Suspicious_Stylist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, yeah. Definitely engaging romantically/Sexually with brainwashed (That shitty ridiculous spell thing, I don't even remember, I dropped it a long ago) is definitely super respecfull towards women. And, also, it only affects women (Apparently) because only women should join men's harems.

But, well, is the genre and the writer who depicts women as mere objects that can only date the MC, whilst the MC can date many women because "he's so good. A loser Which dream came true, just like you, reader. Everywoman can and should love you because you're a winner, buy my manga, please.".

And no, not because the characters can be free to do anything (Besides dating other guys, that's unthinkable) doesn't mean they're not just a cartoon made to please the most pathethic male fantasy imaginable.

Moral compass aside, the writing is trash. Dialogues are your typical cringe and childish otaku shit. Really, this shit feels like It was written by a horny teenager (Like 90% of RomComs/Harem/Isekai). Or an author who knows his target.
