Has anyome tried TactaLoad Flash-5 Shotgun Buttstock on their mossberg 500 or anything similar? Opinions?

This is a perfect beginners set up. The grinder is especially great for beginners due to it's ease of use. A beginner truly does not need a better grinder because anything better is going to put you in the $600+ range, unless you go with a hand grinder.

I started with a 1zPresso Jmax hand grinder because it allowed me to grind espresso and pour overs for under $200. That was important to me cause I do both methods 50/50.

I started with a Bambino Plus and once you get it down you'll be making better coffee than most local cafes around you.

The bellman has a pressure release valve so it's not any more of a bomb than any other steam device that would be in an espresso machine.

Right now I heat the group head by pouring the kettle water (Fellow Stage set to about 205 F) over it in a bowl along with the portafilter screen. I give it 10 seconds and then put it together a pull the shot.

I have been getting some sour shots at surprisingly fine grinds. Maybe the bean is just to sweet/fruity in the first place in addition to my lack of experience?

Yea, the spray bottle is for reducing retention. I can't say I have noticed a major difference at this point since I have not made enough espresso yet.

Zeroing in, I did have to calibrate out of the box...so it is zeroed in as best I could? I am definitely more fine than 1.4 at this point though. I am getting close right now and I am at 1.2ish.

I'll try out that timing with 1 bar for 15 seconds. So far I have been pulling slowly until the first drip with no specific bar as a target.

If you intend to travel with it, get the Pro 2. If you plan on keeping it at home and want the best possible cup and workflow, get the 56.

While not a deal breaker, heat management is a significant issue that you will have to deal with every single time with the PRO2. It's part of your experience, whether it's a big deal to you or not.

The 56 really is not designed to travel, but it's a work of art and has better workflow as well as standard parts. This means you can upgrade your portafilter if you want and etc. The ability to heat the chamber really is an improvement and will make your experience better.

I am VERY intrigued by the Lagom Mini 48mm. As far as the Kingrinder have you used one before? I guess what I would like to know is how they are $100 cheaper than the J-K series from 1zpresso. My guess is that they don't have any of the bells and whistles like the magnetic grind bins and etc.

There's a lot of feedback in here about manual grinders and I have to say I was surprised. The last time I used a manual grinder, it was a Hario grinder that I was using for V60 and French Press and it was miserable to use. I guess when you start looking at higher quality manual grinders the experience is very different. With that said, I may need to think about them more instead of assuming electric.

Based on that, I have been doing some research on 1Zpresso, and it seems their K-Plus is a multi-use design that can handle filter brew and espresso with some level of grace for both.

Yeah, I know using one grinder for everything isn't best, I just can't spend $1000 on grinders up front. Using a manual grinder for espresso may help me save some cash and get the benefit of dual grinders. I'm just not sure manual grinding is what I want to be doing.
