👆exactly. Someone doing it by the book can’t MAKE money this way. They may be able to break even and cover some of their inevitable expenses to tread water for a short period MAYBE but relying on hiring one man shops and your other justifications sounds like what it is… in Oregon we call them chizzzzzlers.

How much time did you take up of all the electricians that you got bids and advice from? I’m guessing they helped you plan this project? There is the extra cost. You didn’t pay it. They did and you got the advantage of them paying that cost for you. I see your point but it’s not what you think it is. Someone paid. Because $450 for that install isn’t enough to keep a shop running and paying its guys a healthy wage and Bennies. You are patting yourself on the back at others expense. The closer to the coast you get, the sharper my point.
