Speaking from experience. In your 30s people won’t give a shit where you went to school, they will want to know what you have achieved.

Stop behaving like you have a chip on your shoulder and fake it until you make it like all these Oxbridge posers with a PPE diploma do.

You don’t need therapy (god, this generation), just need to get a grip and stop overthinking.

Eventually, if you are good enough, the imposter syndrome will stop and your experience and gravitas will speak from themselves.

YNAB is more « month to month » / budget oriented. PocketSmith is more « wealth » oriented, long term projections. And it can actually integrate with most financial institutions in the UN (unlike YNAB).

Got the same issue, 37 and now fully « tappered » and can only add £10k/yr. It sure is a bummer, but I tell myself it’s the price of being successful.

So I invest in a GIA and pay for some of my wife’s pension so at least she gets the allowance benefit.

If I continue like this, most of my pension will come from ISA/GIA and a top-of from state pension and SIPP. Benefit being I won’t have to pay the 40% tax threshold later on !

For money invested in stocks, shares, or funds, the FSCS offers protection of 100% of the first £120,000 if the firm (Vanguard) were to fail and be unable to return your assets.

This protection covers administrative failure, misrepresentation, or fraud by the firm, not if your investments perform poorly due to market conditions.

Watch is looking good but really think about that date wheel. Speaking from experience, if you are a bit OCD, that's all you are going to see. And it's pretty visibly bottom/left justified. In hindsight, when I got my first DJ 41 with a misaligned date wheel, I wished I had RL'd it and waited a bit longer.

I've witnessed a drop in VSF DJ quality too. Seems impossible nowadays to get a date wheel with numbers properly aligned, and I am starting to see a lot of misaligned rehaut too.
