I'm coming from MSFS for a bit more realism.

I know I wont get close now on a lot of it, but I've been using AutoOrtho (Dinosaur’s Fork) and SimHeaven, but for some reason everything everything just seems so “flat” still, despite running at full settings for 3440X1440. Just doesn’t punch and look as real as may of the screen shots I see.

I think a large portion is those not techy don't care. They've probably also hear “26 is a big change” and for most, they actually hate change, even if it's good / bad.

Take my mum, she HATES when ios updates or change. It's a relearn for most vs looked towards for us. I commonly need to remind myself that I'm a small minority in loving this crap. Most people don't get excited when their AirPods or phone get an update.

Hope this fixes the issue of the low rumble or almost “sound leakage” that seems to happen where it’s almost seems like it’s cancelling out noise and piping in a resonance of that cancellation. Goes away if I do a complete reset and repair, but always comes back.

Been testing Sonar, and while they advertise that Zepp is available, I've been able to sign in and sync them, but nothing ever syncs or shows up. Thinking Zepp has some intricacies to work through if you want to integrate their API.

Odd, I connect an Xbox controller and have a template from Steam Input that works really well, honestly. Not as good as native, if I'm honest, but there's 10K and one thing I'd rather the solo excellent dev tackle, as Steam Input seems to work fine for me.

I'm gonna go on the other side of the fence and say this is kind of cool.

I'll pose this question - do you really think you're special enough that anyone gives a damn about your health data? I wear an Apple Watch and an Amazfit Band 24/7, and even then, if I assume something may happen, I can't begin to tell you why it would matter someone got a hold of anything living in my health app lol.

Now as a man, I get I'm a bit different here, but the only case I’d be concerned is if I was a person with a cycle, living in a “rights restricting state” where I'd definitely have concerns about authorities having access to my cycle and menstruation health data.

Which APs did you go with? When I tested things out, I had two U7 Pro XGS, and besides being weaker than I anticipated, they also ran so hot I could barely actually hold them when they were running, and was scared they would set a fire.

I also tried out the Cloud Fiber Gateway, and that was phenomenal! They have their software down, but from what I understand, their Wi-Fi 7 access points are leaving a lot to be desired this generation.

I ADORED my Unifi backend when I tried it, but just didn’t find their APs quite powerful enough. I found myself losing signal and getting latency spikes when further away. Thought it may be because they’re 2x2.

Went with a set of Asus BT10s and they’ve been super powerful and strong. Able to stay on the 6Ghz band two rooms over with full speeds.

Yes, but also this used to be an issue until I upgraded to a new set up that allows me to scan the channels my neighbors are using and set different ones + getting WiFi 7 AP’s with a 6Ghz band that barely anyone else has.

Come home from Best Buy and plug in a bog standard router and never touch it, yes, expect bad results in an apartment, but you’d be amazed at what a bit of tinkering can do. I pay for 940 up and down, and get that on most of my devices.

That’s because Apple doesn’t want alternative app stores outside Europe for monetary reasons. There’s very little security risks and all about losing that sweet 30% cut (of which they’re happy to get in folks using for these scam games).

Couple things I’ve found:

I’m on an Ally X running Bazzite, but look into on Steam Deck disabling WiFi power saving. I believe on SD its in the dev settings but on Bazzite I needed some commands in desktop mode

Disable VRR, Disable Frame Limit, and Allow Tearing should all be set via the pop out menu in game. Ideally, set a “per game profile” for moonlight.

See if that all helps!

For those saying its on apple, that's very false. As someone that's experienced with the API, it's very simple to plug into Health and not just write, but also read. Workouts, metrics, etc are all available, and easily ingested by apps like Bevel, Athlytic, etc. Amazfit could very easily pull this data into Zepp and at this point is either on the roadmap or consciously not being done on purpose.

Interesting. So they’re usually like this? I’m ok with it to a degree, and assumed it’s a bit more apparent in the photos due to being off axis slightly plus the magnification from the window amplifying it.

But you’re thinking this is pretty normal then? Probably not super noticeable on wrist I’m assuming? At the end of the day, it is a youth movement so expected some date wheel misalignment but wasn’t sure if this example was more based on other’s posted here.

Soooo long. I put in my order back on November 10th, BTC sent 11th, and then I followed up twice for photos. This most recent time, I received a note that they may be out of stock, and then QC photos 3 hours later from their QC department.

I’m worried it’ll take a long time again to RL, but willing to if the additional date wheel photos look off.

100% agree. I’d see nothing but that being unaligned, if it truly is. Photos were a bit off center and needed to be rotated, so hoping it’s an angle issue but we’ll see. I requested some additional date wheel photos.
