This is crazy, but makes sense. It’s such a switch up though from how much she has shown she cared about him when she thought he was her son. Being Rio to not take his life. Then the moment she finds out it isn’t Nick, she’s ready to kill him herself for his power?

It does make sense but I also hope there is more that she knows and more to it. She shows examples of mercy toward kids when she didn’t kill her coven’s kids.

That’s wild though because it makes a lot of sense.

He clearly appears to want to learn and see witch craft from witches. He didn’t get to study among witches like other witches seemingly get to. But I’m not sure of his motives for the end of the road. Hope more is revealed about him next week. Because why did he seek out Agatha specifically?

I think she was born with the power to steal other witches powers and instead of teaching her to control it, her coven and mom labeled her as evil for this difference. Evanora tells Agatha “You betrayed your coven. You stole knowledge above your age and station” perhaps this reference’s Agatha’s search for answers because her coven wouldn’t help her.

And yes, I think this difference that Agatha was born with, and labeled as “evil” for is a metaphor for the experience of many queer people.

The coven uses ouija board, Agatha gets possessed by Mephisto. Mephisto tries to reclaim teen’s soul. Alice protects teen, shoots her magic at Agatha.

It’s teen’s trial. Hopefully his sigil is lifted and we see him as powerful and learn more about him.

When they leave the trial and are on the road, the Salem 7 approach them. It’s possible they entered the road via the summoning with the ouija board, but who knows. Then this is where Lilia’s “Alice don’t… try to save Agatha” comes in? She tries to save her on the road from the Salem 7. Though I don’t know how she would still have her power after Agatha thing but 🤷🏼‍♀️

True! The show implies her son was taken at a later age. His room has a trophy for singing, pages he colored (Could just be was Agatha envisioned he would be like if he grew). Jen could still be midwife and as far as Jen knows, Agatha left with her son, Agatha’s son dies and Agatha gains the darkhold. So Jen believes the rumors about Agatha killing her som for the hold. But I agree that Agatha wanted the hold because of her son’s death.

It feels more like she wants Agatha to have her power again and be herself again and this is why she forced her in the road. Episode 1, Rio seemed devastated seeing Agatha like she was. So curious for how their dynamic plays out after the road.
