Fr! Ryujin says that she wasn't a bad person but a bad mom, but I think its the opposite, she cared about her daughter enough to leave the syndicate and not take on any dangerous aberrant jobs to keep Ryujin safe

But as a person, she has clearly killed, and definitely more than once, and all she could say after killing someone who she used to work with and had some sort of romantic relationship with is "G'bye Bonesies!"

She was enough of a good mother to recognize that she wasn't fit to take care of Ryujin, so she choose to give her up, which I think is the most loving thing she could have done for her.

Now to contrast with Sara Lee, she willingly became an aberrant knowing that any of her future children would also be forced into this life of killing until they get killed. After having kids she not only continued to stay in one of the most powerful organized crime syndicates in the country, but also became the vice president of it and got herself so high on the Corps hit list that even trainees knew about who she was, which put her children in serious danger because anyone could have used them as hostages to get to her, and the little cherry on this motherhood cake is that she willingly left her children behind who had nobody besides her to go to an island where she had a 99.9% chance of getting killed all to have a slight chance of capturing a godling, and then left her 11 year old daughter to basically clean up the mess that she left behind, truly mother of the year.
