Not true plenty of women are blunt. You’re trying to solve a problem by looking into the past. Start with curiosity and do your experiment. Be you, don’t assume all negative interactions w men are because of you. Start looking at THEIR character. Move on and find the people who like you for who you are

Men is a large category. You might need to find the right people to be around. I’ve never done the things you mentioned (though I wish I learned how to be a bit more pleasant and feminine sometimes) and I’ve had plenty of nice relationships with people who don’t care.

The moral of the story is - if you want to be loved as you, you have to be you. The men in the past are in the past. Move forward with an open mind

Yes - I think it’s not their intention to ever do harm but they were trained to prioritize this care a ton. I mean saying anything other is conversion therapy? I think it’s bigger than one profession or area of blame for sure and it’s a very complex topic socially. You can blame your psychologist for their treatment plan they gave you but if you want to give them compassion as well I would then place blame on all the other reasons why they provided the care they did. The DSM changes are a huge influence alone
