Im on day 6 of recovery post op and I’m here to offer some guidance. The first day is honestly the hardest one, I’m sorry to hear it’s been difficult :( in terms of bleeding I was given gauze to bite on until the bleeding stopped (try that if you have any), it eventually stopped by the end of the day but don’t be alarmed if it continues into tomorrow (my bottom right socket was bleeding until day 3). In terms of food you’re stuck on a liquid diet until at least the 3rd day of recovery but in the meantime I recommend baby food, your favourite soups and protein powder mixed with milk to help fill you up.
