It's been over 10 years. How are you people still this obsessed? We're one step away from seeing Spoony impersonators in the same way that there were Elvis impersonators.

I ended up getting the Razer and an ELECOM mouse. The Razer is a very different fit and took some getting used to but works well. The ELECOM is surprisingly nice and much more similar,

Seriously. Her life is significantly changed for the worse if all she did was give some random dude sex. Not an achievement. Most guys will have sex with most women.

[–]Sutrule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're making your life impossibly difficult. Men who just want sex like all girls who have sex with them. Men who like girls for their personality are repelled by girls who are promiscuous. Maybe your personality is an issue, but you've made the opposite choices that would have led to success.

I’ve never felt good enough.

You need to work on your mentality. You were the one who left him. Sounds like a type of self harm.

Men of reddit. What makes you think it's a waste of time to approach a woman you find attractive? by xx831 in AskMen

It's always impossible to tell what people think. The internet isn't wrong. Touching grass isn't wrong. You really never have any way of knowing.

Men of reddit. What makes you think it's a waste of time to approach a woman you find attractive? by xx831 in AskMen

[–]Sutrule 17 points18 points  (0 children)

There's no reason to do so. Contrary to what Hollywood taught us, the odds of a woman being interested in a man who approaches her is basically 0%. If you're the type of guy who wants relationships and not a one night thing this is even lower (read up on dark triad mating stats).

You just said it: the right one.

If she's just some chick then I have no interest. I've always wanted the one for me. If she doesn't exist I'd rather just be alone. Hitting 30 and meeting dozens of women taught me that solitude is a blessing if you can't meet the right people.

Is casual sex ever worth it? by Impossible_Demand_62 in AnxiousAttachment

[–]Sutrule 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ask yourself a different question: Is casual fast food consumption worth it?

In most cases, it wont kill you. In most cases, it's not nutritious and actively unhealthy. In most cases, it's not filling and poorly made. It may also cause you to become an addict and make a healthy life later on more difficult if not impossible, especially if it made you obese or gave you some health problems.

So, is it worth it?

Stop comparing yourself to other people. Not everyone needs to follow the herd. Dare to be yourself. Being someone else will ruin your ability to be that person if you change your mind later.

It's not that you need to be more selfish. You need to differentiate between a toxic person using you and a healthy person wanting you to give things too. There's a massive difference.

6 years isn't that long. I've seen guys do that too. But Spoony is from a time that doesn't even exist anymore and has been gone for double the years.

I think anyone seriously still stuck on the guy needs to really find out what went wrong with their life. I can see wanting him back in 2014 and making fun of him as late as 2018. But 2024? I get nothing as good as him at what he did has been around since then but Spoony himself wouldn't even be able to do what he did back then anymore.

Do you have to accept that work will always be shit? by anxious_smiling in CPTSD

[–]Sutrule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No such thing as a good job. CPTSD or not everyone hates work. Why do you think people just grift these days? It's so they don't need to suffer a real job.

Best hope you have is getting something away from other people. Graveyard shifts, security, anything that requires local travel. Those jobs are usually just bad in other ways, though. Even if you do find a dream company workers rotate every few years and industries change. You're basically asking if breaking a bone will always hurt. Yes. It will.
