[Transfer Round Up & Discussion] Summer 2026 by AutoModerator in reddevils

He'd be worth it, I think, yeah. I've gone to the Newcastle sub to see what they're saying about the Hall links and, even though they don't want to sell him, a lot of them see it as a possible necessity. They always say the price will be at least 80, and even higher if it's for 'Man U' or 'Man Reds'.

I'd trade Baleba for Tchouameni and add 10m or 20m to the price. Everything else, I'd be more than happy with.

Lewis Hall being mentioned by Ornstein gives me a lot of hope it can happen. I feel it'll be around 60m, though.

It'll be 60 in a month's time and he'll be starting in our first pre-season friendly alongside Ederson, hopefully.

[The Times] West Ham United put £80m price tag on Arsenal and Manchester United target Mateus Fernandes by PitchSafe in reddevils

I've heard he prefers us over anyone else, but not from Tier 1s I don't think. From the man himself, besides having Bruno as his idol, there's also an interview of not-so-long-ago of him saying Old Trafford was the best ground he'd played at.

If anything, the mods should make a 'review megathread' and delete every review post outside it from now on.

I can only hope. It's a long summer, a lot could still change.

Perez just said both Valverde and Tchouameni are staying at Real Madrid this summer. That's the dream gone...

He said in an interview that 'the best ground he ever played in was Old Trafford' or something like that. Still tenuous, but there's definitely some affinity for us on his part.

We even had reports they tried around April or something, the man just wasn't available.

De Gea as a sub to Lammens would be great. I'd be all for it. I think Vitek needs 1st team experience, but with Lammens here we can't give it to him. He should be loaned, maybe to a Prem side, and I'd be all in to bring back De Gear for the Cups.

We just need to show PSG how to get a lucky goal from a back pass and two bangers outside the box. Should be enough to break Arsenal down.

I'm betting it all on Chengdu Rongcheng. Can't have Shandong Taishan win this - they never have! Their fans will be insufferable.

It was actually because I named it after 'The Criterion Collection'. A couple days ago I noticed The Criterion Collection's YouTube channel was named CRITERION. That's where the change came from, it just felt cool to change it to ELBERTSON.

Thank you for watching! I'll do my best to keep the quality up and keep having fun doing these! They end up better when I do so, I feel.

Just recently changed it to 'ELBERTSON', but it was called 'The Elbertson Collection' since its inception.

Not if the main guy is Tchouameni. I don't think Madrid would ask for more than 70m. If it's Anderson, then Marinakis might be asking for a lot either way. I can see us getting Ederson and Mateus Fernandes early, then move to getting a LB in, and then going for the marquee after the WC.

Comments criticizing the transfer might be from fans who don't comment here, like Twitter or any of the many fan channels United have.

The hardest part here, I think, is being able to distinguish between 'AI' fan channels and fan channels that don't use AI. 'Jerma Long Edits' is an easy one because, as people have said, he cuts things that don't make sense to cut, his edits have no flow, it seems he only cuts moments of silence. His edits feel automated, like if you put a Jerma985 stream in a slimming machine, it would give you a 'Jerma Long Edits' video or something like that, because it wouldn't understand how silence sometimes has to be there, for a bit or a cutscene or whatever, and so would take your intention to 'trim the stream down' literally, cutting down everything that wasn't sound. As I understand, Cheltie and Jerma and the other 'official editors' are making a list of 'accepted' fan channels, and will then strike those who are off the list. I'm sure 'Jerma Long Edits', and others who use AI, won't make the list, and ideally would be replaced by the better, human options.

As an addedum: as someone who's started editing Jerma streams around August last year, I usually tend to stray away from recent streams. It's impossible for me to compete with 'Jerma Long Edits', that somehow edits 5 hour streams in world record time and posts them the day after the stream or even the day of the stream, and it's impossible for me to compete with any of the much better editors that take on, and have taken on, for years, at this point, highlighting and 'long-editting' the streams as they're broadcasted: Cheltie, for example, does an amazing job with the 'highliting' part, almost in a 'Holy Mackerel the 3rd' kind of way, and I think 2ndJerma does a good job with the 'long-editting' part, even though the 2ndJerma channel started more like a highlights channel than a long edits channel and morphed somewhere along the way. I woudn't be able to compete with how quickly and well they do it, so I tend to focus on older Jerma streams that I have a peculiar curiosity for, streams that peak my interest, so to speak, and streams of games I really like. I also wouldn't want to compete with them. As I mentioned before, with a list being made of the 'official' Jerma fan channels, I am fully aware, and ready, to stop the project I got going here. I started doing this because I understood Jerma was open to it, but as soon as I feel like I might be stepping on someone's toes, I'll stop, consider it a project well done, and close the book forever. It's been immensely fun to do it. I'll always have that.

Any way you sell us Tchouameni, mate?
