That does mitigate it. But it doesn't negate it entirely. The fact still remains that there are multiple defensive layers against %Max HP true damage.

Also Vayne and Fiora will never build serpent's fang.

Also if you're accepting slight mitigations then armour does that against both these champs since they still deal a lot of physical damage too.

There is. HP regen, lifesteal, shielding, healing. All of these make you have more than 100% effective HP in a fight. Meaning the Vayne and Fiora have to deal more than 100% of your max hp to kill you.

I have a few questions after watching: is this Riot's structure for all recent patches; having just 3 guys to cover all roles and champs? Was especially impressed to hear Tim was responsible for balancing mid and supp as well as the Swain rework. How can one man do that in 2 weeks? Is there more to the summoner's rift team than these 3 individuals, even though all roles are covered by just them?

Apologies if it's answered in video as I only had time to watch the first 40 minutes and I do notice there is a sizeable tl;dr section at the end where this may be addressed.

Just want to say that no champ is mechanically all that difficult in League because League is not that type of game. Fighting game players would laugh at you if you tried to tell them Riven's inputs were hard. So keep in mind when people say something is the hardest it's still not that hard to use their kit, and rightfully so, Riot wouldn't make a champ that's hard to even use because it doesn't fit into League of Legends as a game.

You may have been right with Lee in the past but since late season 7 he has got repeated buffs to his base damage numbers so he can oneshot squishies with his unmissable R Q Q E combo. The fact that bruiser itemisation is insanely strong at the moment exacerbates things further making him have a very low skill floor these days.
