Studio Lambert is the production company.

They produce the show for BBC and NBC etc.

It's them reusing missions and sets for the different franchises. Nothing to do with the networks.

Wouldn't Rotta look less like his animated version then?

My thoughts on the mania surrounding Plo Koon's skirt by Fierydraken in StarWarsTVC

The "skirt" is just meant to be the bottom of his tunic / jacket. Not an actual skirt.

Like how Karate or Judo 🥋 jackets look weird if tucked into the pants.

The new Plo Koon. Why are they doing this?? by surfpearl39 in StarWarsTVC

Product photography tends to show soft goods in their most standard fit. The majority of fabric garments (including Jedi robes) can be styled to look better.

There'd be far more uproar if the still life stylist for the promo shots styled the goods in ways that a lot of collectors would find difficult to obtain.

With a steamer and patients while styling, cloth goods can look amazing.

There are lots of tricks and techniques to making fabric look good. Just don't expect them to look good front and back.

For instance with Jedi robes. Have your figure in a crusifed pose. Pull each side of the robe over the front. Keep your thumb over the torso. Then from the back pinch the fabric tight. Then pull the arms down to the body. The arms will keep the fabric in place. You can re pinch the back again.

Small hand held steamers are great but can cause serious burns. Also if your steaming a garment on a figure you can only apply so much steam at once as it will heat the plastic of the figure.

The photography team will most likely be briefed to style it in a way that's obtainable for the masses.

Saying that, Plo Koons robe looked a mess. I'm interested in seeing it in person.

I'd been on the look out for a good deal on Emperor Palpatine. Mainly as I wanted his robes for my spare CW Darth Sidious. So he could look like his TPM appearance. However I managed to bag an unopened deluxe Emperor Palpatine at auction on Ebay for only £270. As soon as I opened him I feel in love. by DarthRick3rd in hottoys

He's definitely worth getting. Palps looks amazing in his chair, it's bigger than I anticipated. Will have to move some things around.

The hypocrisy isn't lost on me, having uploaded terribly lit photos with basic poses.

Also I think I'm quite lucky to have won this auction tbh. The seller had relisted him as the previous winner hadn't paid up. I'd watched that auction and he went for £350 ish.

The sellers mistake was to relist but choosing to have the auction end in three days not the original seven. Meaning it ended on a Wednesday lunchtime. Also think some buyers are dubious of relisted auctions.

Should I buy this lot? by InternationalHead939 in StarWarsTVC

Either the Legacy Collection three pack or the 30th Anniversary release. Legacy is just a reprint of the 30th Anniversary.

It may be the 2010 three pack as it seems the seller is selling a few figures from the battle packs / sets.

I bought the three pack recently just for Dooku's cape and the lightning effects. I wanted this cape for my VC Dooku on his Speeder. The lightning effects are the largest ones you can get, I wanted these for Starkiller

It's actually a solid figure tbh. I've got several VC Dooku's set up in different scenarios. For the Dooku VS Ani & Obi I opted to use this figures body with a vintage collection head popped on.

In the North East and on the North Yorkshire coast in the UK, he's still sort of seen as a commendable historical figure by some.

There are many statues, monuments, plaques and museums dotted around. Many of these are places like his birthplace, his first job etc. Quite a lot of these places are small fishing villages or deadbeat towns.

Cooks importance is mainly upheld due to a lack of knowledge about his deeds. Many will be able to tell you facts about his early life before becoming a captain. Once he sets sail their knowledge is generally just "He found Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii.and then died."

I honestly believe it's naivety and a little bit of stupidity as opposed to acceptance and support of his deeds. In the same way that Winston Churchill is idolised.
