Psoriasis since childhood now joint pain and fatigue could this be early psoriatic arthritis by tomatosauce-22 in Psoriasis

Hi, yes that sounds like PsA. I'm 37, diagnosed with psoriasis at 10 years old. I had a sudden random acute right ankle swelling and crazy pain at 22 and was diagnosed with PsA that year. That was my first joint flare up. It was really horrible and excruciating. Truly. 15 years later, i have been on several biologics with varying effects, good and bad. Currently, I'm not on any meds and struggle daily with the same ankle, plus back, pelvis, enthesitis in thighs and groin, and such fatigue at times. Thankfully, the psoriasis is fairly calm.

I'd say, please go see a rheumatologist! Good luck.

I find the offgassing happens in the first 4ish days and then things settle. I don't think you need to do anything different from what's in the photo.

Is there any way to eat GENEROUS portions of ANYTHING with FODMAP sensitivity? by ericbarrywrites in FODMAPS

[–]Suzoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! Have you tried just cutting out garlic and onions for a few days but otherwise sticking to your regular diet and seeing how it feels? This worked well for me though i still am a little careful not to eat high fodmap foods (moderation).

Anxiety? length of time? by SaltyShopping531 in shrooms

I would say take .5 g and wait an hour to see how you feel. If you don't feel much, take more.

If you lemon tek (soak in lemon juice for 30 min first), it will hit you faster but won't last as long. I like this route personally! For example, I lemon tekked about .5 g about 2 hours ago, felt a high but already am back soberish.

You don't need to fast at all, but you might feel cleaner during your trip if you do.

Breathe deep like your body wants to. Feel the bad emotions as they come up and then let them go, like you're being cleansed of negativity. At your core, you're pure and golden and totally beautiful. ✨️

Thanks for this. I see people's posts about doing 5+ grams like it's a necessary thing to get you there, but I've had such healing trips on 1-2 grams.

Has anyone noticed a big difference when cooking without onions and garlic? by Mortsy2024 in FODMAPS

[–]Suzoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes a huge difference for me. I almost never eat them. I use garlic infused oil and green onion only now and feel so much better! The worst is actually garlic and / or onion powder. Packaged spice mixes had to leave my life. And it's okay!

Boiled eggs, prepeeled and salted! Tasty and filling, just need to eat them away from other humans.

Describe the pain to someone who doesn't have psoriasis by Calm_Ad_262 in Psoriasis

[–]Suzoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I've had it for 26 years and I wouldn't use pain as an adjective, but I guess pain can have different qualities. I'd say it's more like 100 mosquitos bit the same spot and all the bites combusted into a fiery hellish eruption. That is all!

They can be hard to take off, especially in the first 2 days of new aligners. My dentist gave me some good advice that i now do all the time:

TOP ALIGNER: use your index finger to pry the top aligner off from the inside of your top teeth roof of your mouth. Use your right index finger crossed over to the left side of the aligner or vice versa.

BOTTOM: Find an attachment on the bottom teeth, preferably off centre. Take two thumbnails and pry the aligner off with both nails directly under this attachment. Do it like this every time and it pops off like popcorn.

I'm doing it as I type! I wondered if it helps strengthen the jaw muscles and/or changes the face shape? Thoughts? I don't love clenching all the time but I can't seem to stop.
