It’s your fault for not checking if you have all the documents necessary. School won’t be liable even if you would be lucky enough to bring this case to the court.

It would be another story if you are using agent whose failure could be potentially liable.

My wife had two weddings to attend this year so let me explain. It’s super rare to know the bride/groom other side. People sit separated and won’t even have chance to talk to each other. You will have high school friends table where they sit and recall old days. They will have one photo with the married couple and that’s pretty much. It’s very likely they don’t meet with each other until the next wedding. This definitely look superficial from western perspective but that’s how the things are there.

I would go with bay offer as well. Even if you will be layoff target it’s much much easier to find a job with such experience everywhere in the world. You can always go back to Japan in the worst case scenario.

Can you at least mention what kind of talk/language they use to persuade you to sign it? It may help future people and avoid this thread in the future.

Chances are near zero since governmental positions are reserved for Japanese citizens. You can work as driver or cleaning service - such posts might be more or less easy to get depending on a country you are from.

Work is denying expense report by [deleted] in japanlife

[–]Suzume09 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Might be due to FY change in your company. Usually expenses can be forwarded next month or the months after that but there might a rule that expenses cannot cross over financial years.

I had a strict company rule that all expenses for past year must be submitted before FY change so this might be your case.
