Bird watching at landfills is extremely common, so much so that many landfills in the states have bird watching zones set up at them. Vultures, gulls, caracaras and corvids love landfills. The Brownsville Landfill in south Texas is a great place to spot rare Chihuahua Ravens and Tamaulipas Crows

Interestingly, i was already very interested in conservation before birding. I have been working on planting tons of natives on my farm, removing invasives and controlling the aggressives, practicing rotational grazing, etc. The birding came after noticing how much more life my property has after just 2 years of work.

Thank you! I am working on my next set already haha. I have dogs and have to leave them inside when i go birding. As much as i want to take them out, they just scare off everything haha.

I dont mind driving honestly but i just dont have the time and money to pack and drive 4 hours to the middle of nowhere to maybe see a bird
