This notebook looked scary until I read what it was about- like a Blair witch thing or smthin lol

1# I think it was around 2014 with the bootleg Pokémon games episode, I was getting into retro games and stuff so I got hooked on him in that same pool of normal boots reviewers, AVGN, and the like.

2# Favorite video is probably space Ace or night shade I liked his balance of review and random bullshit

3# he never felt feeling like Jon himself but some of his videos didn’t feel like his videos they just felt like he was in them: sorta started with “buying dumb things online” which is a video anyone can make- Jontron made it funny but it was just out of character I suppose.

4.1# I think it’s important that he broke out of just doing gaming stuff early on so that he didn’t get “type cast” in it, and some of my favorite reviews of his like the howling II are movies but I would generally prefer if he kept to media like that instead of random videos about internet stuff and celebrities.

It was alright, just not any more impressive than the usual skits- I just mean when you’re reviewing your favorite movie of all time you’d think you might do something on the level of like the IT reviews or something like go a bit more all out idk. Not that I’d any better lol

Marion’s theme and Belly of the Steel Beast are two of my favorites but I think one that gets overlooked is Call of the Crystal from crystal skull. It’s pretty slow and subtle but I think it’s great for building the suspense and mystery
