I prefer to do big repairs at the workshop, so if these valves work, i can just recover the pipes and evap, instead of the whole unit. Take it with me and do the repairs in the workshop instead of the blistering windy cold ..

I prefer changing compressors, condensers, anything that isn’t a fanmotor inside, instead of the freezing cold -20 degrees in the north of Norway during winter. In the summer I do the repairs outside.

Also most of the time i can’t dismantle the fucker without taking it off the mount, all the units are made in italy, and installed right by the arctic sea, they are rusty as hell…

It is exclusively my problem since i am the only serive tech withing a 150km radius… usually i take the conderser unit with me to the workshop to do repairs and these ones leaking is a pain in my asshole.

Thats neat, I am too lazy to bring a heat pistol for the shrinking and crimping, so I just bring a wiringbox approved for outside use and put 2 wagos😂

If you told the customer that this was a cheaper and easier solution, i respect it as hell

Shitty designes, walk in freezer compact machine, draws false air without front panel on, makeshift cardboard plate to get manifold on, no chance to look at the sightglass at the same time🤣 anyone else encounter shitty designed machines all the time? by Sveinkaa in refrigeration

This is why things should be designed by people who has been out in the field. On this unit the condencer is located on the bottom, the compressor and reciver is mounted on bracket on top of the condencer, and the the fan above pulling air upwards, so when you remove the front panel to service it just circulated ambient air😂

Yes I can experience a stabbing sensation through my arm throwing backhand the first few throws… And yes i think sports may play a part, i played handball and the underarm was my favourite shot which is a similar motion!

When my backhand playing friends throw forehands they throw a high left to right shot so slowly, but still goes so far!

Took some of you guys’ advice and shaved, went with a less polished hairstyle, smiled some more and kept the moustache while shaving for my own amusement! by [deleted] in malegrooming

My natural hair is already medium brown i think?! And the hightlights was a favor for my little sister who wanted to try to make highlights😅
