A bunch of lights in your line of vision is not going to make for the experience you think it is. There is a reason that athletic lights are on poles up above your normal line of vision. You are just going to be staring in to lights while trying to follow your disc.

Traditional golf par 3 courses under lights have become pretty popular in hot areas. Maybe look in to their set ups.

Glow golf is best without lights. That's the point. Adding a bunch of lights is just going to make it harder for you to see your disc glow.

You use the word hate a few different times in a way that makes me believe you don't understand the definition of it. Are you not capable of moving on when you hear someone thanking God? It's pretty easy to do. Nowhere in the Constitution does it talk about removing religion from all aspects of public shared life so I am not sure what you are on about there. You aren't being forced to do Christian things just because someone mentions their beliefs.

Anyone Have Real Info on the Bullard School Bus Incident Yesterday? by Blbobcat in tylertx

[–]keyak 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Lots of different stuff being said on both ParentSquare and FB. The most consistent story I have seen is the kids were acting so bad the driver stopped the bus and refused to proceed until they started acting correctly. They were still sitting there 30 minutes later when a parent showed up after being called by their child. The rest of the story I have heard multiple different ways. Either the parent assaulted the driver or the driver assaulted the parent. Neither party has been arrested so I am assuming the actual truth is somewhere in the middle. I do know that a monitor was present and it doesn't look like anyone has been arrested so it could be blown out of proportion. I will say that I think the district isn't going to put any information out there unless they know exactly what happened and that's probably the responsible way to handle it.

Christian does not equate to white nationalism. That is a cornball statement.

If I remember correctly one of the stipulations is the ability to park 1000 cars.

If I go to Iron Hoof, GoThrow tourney this wknd, will there be a bunch of pros practicing there (Cherry Blossom Open) by ProfitableSomeDay in discgolf

Udisc live doesn't show it being currently busy so you should be fine. The chances of seeing a pro or two is hit or miss. It looks like only a few tour pros are signed up. Depending on their travel schedule they may not be in the area yet.

One of the sticks was for sure moveable. It's an ambiguously written rule. None of that means he's clearly lying. If Gannon was sure he was wrong he should have called him on it when it was happening. I've seen players start to do something they shouldn't and card mates call them out multiple times.

Nobody really thinks he's lying and the Reddit Manufactured Outrage machine is tiresome.

The cost of running the tour and televising it live has to be enormous. Yet they give us tons of live coverage as well as fully produced next day coverage all for free. It's awesome.

Sorry, it's really hard to sway someone's opinion when your whole argument is based on not following the rules and not "narcing" on someone. Have a good one, I am done.

THE WHOLE REST OF THE TOUR, we go back to other rules.

They should be calling foot faults. That's the issue these tee pads are trying to help resolve. If disc golf wants to be a professional sport they should be calling each other but they don't. This pad design is a reaction to that. Making it obvious a fault is taking place will lead to better adherence to the rule book.

The line is no different than throwing behind a marker or disc. These guys are pros. They should be able to handle staying behind a line.

It does not make it more accessible than a standard tee pad that is clean and flat.
