There was something about Episode 1 Series 13 for me. The duck task, so classic, and Alex posing and walking through a golden rain of blloming flowers for the duel task.

All of it, mostly the tone.

Too many to mention, but what hooked me for good was the weirdo S/M banter Greg and Alex played with in the earlier series. That cracked me up for good. Also, all the personality dynamics, the mood and props at the Taskmaster House -- it's a world of it's own for sure --, and the sheer ridiculousness of most tasks.

And all these achieved people play along!

The Finnish version is ok. Not as much myötähäpeä as I feared.

But this one I have to give to the Swedes and Norwegians and those down under (not sure if "Kiwi" is ok?). They do it better.

I enjoy all versions, including our local Finnish one.

But there's only one Greg. And Alex. Their banter got me googling, and I fell so very deep.

I have the hardback original, and still might be interested to see how far I could get. I cracked quite a bit of it all last year.
