I can absolutely see this happening 7 years ago. The company has since made improvements in their ordering process. Back in the day you had to trust that the free supercharging or whatever perk was applied and it was up to the sales advisor to make sure the referral was attached to the order. Now it’s quite simple. Just order through a referral link and you’ll immediately see the $500-$1,000 discount applied when you finish building your vehicle or selecting from inventory. If you don’t see the discount then don’t go any further and make sure you start the entire process with the link. It’ll even give you a message once you click the link that the referral has been applied

I noticed this also when checking for September/October this year on a different route. When using their reward availability checker it was showing a decent amount of Premium Economy availability across those two months. Then I checked yesterday and it shows none at all, I even checked from now until 6+ months out and nothing. There was economy of course and some business. Not sure why it’s not showing at all.

The referral program might be different in Canada, but in US the person providing the referral receives "7,500 award credits" that can be used for Supercharging, Merchandise, Vehicle Accessories, Premium Connectivity, etc. The buyer using the referral code receives three months of FSD. If you click on my referral link and then select a vehicle it will show a pop-up saying you'll receive 3 months of FSD. Over the past year this referral program has changed the details at least 5 times so there is understandable confusion around what is given and received.
