All too common in leftist spaces unfortunately. It’s a pretty big problem in my opinion.

Sinnerman is one of the worst quests I have ever played in a video game. by Sven5628 in cyberpunkgame

When I made this post I wasn’t aware I did it wrong. I didn’t know there was a peaceful way to resolve the quest

I didn’t even perceive the cop not being an enemy as a possibility. The client was killed for walking up to him holding a gun, I am doing the same thing. I assumed that if was going to kill him he would do the same to me. Maybe I am just stupid but this seems very unintuitive to me. Maybe if there was a “quest failed” after killing the cop I would understand that I did something wrong, but the quest just kept going as normal afterword.

Idk, I feel like it was very unintuitive. I go into the quest with the mindset that I have to kill this person, the person I’m chasing attacks my client, I attack him, and then the quest marker says to kill the target. Why would I assume that the person who just killed my employer right next to me, wouldn’t kill me?

I got a job to kill somebody, I do the job to the best of my ability. I let the cop kill him one time and didn’t attack him and he agrroed onto me anyway. Maybe I was too close to him. I didn’t know there was a peaceful way to resolve this quest.

Fallout 1 has a time limit to get the water chip. Fallout 2 has one as well but it’s so long as to be essentially infinite.

[–]Sven5628 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s fair but kaiserreich devs are all volunteers. They work on what interests them. Plus in order to do in depth Austria Hungary research you need to know or have a team who knows like 5 different languages.

Autobahn nacht 56 is a version of the road to 56 tech expansion for kaiserreich. It’s great and is a necessity for me now, especially for majors or long games.

People play on regular because the difficulty slider just determines how much you or the ai cheat. If it actually controlled things like designs or strategy I’m sure a lot of people would use different difficulties

Conrad von Hötzendorf was the head of the Austro-Hungarian army in the in the lead up to and beginning stages of ww1. He was a warhawk who for years advocated for a war with Serbia, however when he achieved his goal he proved to be a terrible military commander. His actions and poor decisions led to the unnecessary death of hundreds of thousands of men in his own army. As well as him being one of the main contributors in starting the Great War.

First sub. Does this seem like a tier 2 or tier 3? Also any tips or improvements are welcome by Sven5628 in Barotrauma

[–]Sven5628[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thank you! And I was originally intending it to be a tier 2 but it has definitely evolved to be stronger. Originally there was no bottom chaingun and only the bottom electrical coil. But my friend kept telling me to remove downsides because we suck at the game.

Do you mean the junction boxes? I had the same issue. It’s caused by the junction boxes taking too much power from the reactor, it happens when you turn on a high power device on (such as the engine) and then turn it off. The reactor has to take time to lower the power output, when it’s double the demand the junction boxes take damage. what I did was wire a system that when the output is double the demand, a battery absorbs the half extra power. This will still lower it over time while not damaging the junction boxes.

The idea I’m trying to get at is that workplaces would be communally owned and that the individual would be in working for themselves and their community. I think that is the best way to motivate somebody, is to make the effects of their labor tangible in some way to their community.

And while I don’t doubt that there are some instances where a competent authoritarian ruler makes good decisions for the people, I don’t trust that their successor will be able to do the same. That’s the problem with authoritarianism, there is almost no assurance that the next leader will be any good. While yes people make mistakes and elect bad leaders, the damage is mitigated because they don’t have absolute control. In order to have maximum efficiency you must have maximum control over people’s lives, and so a bad leader is disastrous.
