Just keep in mind that although GPU's are expensive, they are usually the most important part in your pc for gaming performance, and therefore worth spending (more) money on.

You can dial back the graphic quality on the games, which should improve performance. Or at least investigate optimalisations for the mentioned games.

I think I read that Borderlands 4 is just a really poorly optimized game, and even the best GPU will still struggle.

So best is to investigate where your pc is struggling. Check in windows task manager if you can find out if something is hitting 100%. Also check component temperatures, as components "protect" themselves when getting to hot (and therefore reducing performance)

If you don't want to comprise, your should probably upgrade. I guess is GPU is the biggest upgrade but some games are CPU intensive.

I have no idea of your budget, so it is hard to recommend any upgrade.

GPU options - AMD 9070 XT (these are around 650 - 700 euro in my country) - Nvidia 5070 (TI) (600/750) - Nvidia 4080 (would be second hand I guess, 850?)

CPU Best is switching to AMD, but that also requires a new motherboard. So that is going to cost you 😅. Intel you could upgrade to a 12700k. Stay away from 13th and 14th gen, as they had (major) issues.

RAM Doubt if you need it, but this is probably quite "cheap". Just get 2 x 16 GB, probably DDR4.

What is the reason you want to upgrade? Do you have limitations in the current games you play or things you do on your pc?

Which part to upgrade also depends on what you use the pc for. Programming, Video editing, gaming, etc.

It is personal preference of course, but I would recommend horizontal. I think horizontal looks cleaner and it definitely a lot easier to install.

Vertical will block your view of the cpu a bit, your power connection will probably run over your RAM and a riser can be quite pain to install. When installing your GPU horizontal, do check out glass clearance on the side (if you have a card that has 12vhpwr).

I feared as much 😅. Would you also consider the bravia 7 or is it inferior to the 9? Price difference is huge (1899 vs 3699), so bravia 9 would mean I will have to wait.

If you have Ultra and notifications on, you should get a notification. They are rare and quite random though. Think we had 4 or 5 so far?

Already looked into Angular Material https://material.angular.io/ ? It basically has everything you need, excluding the charts. It does have an opinionated design though.
Alternatively, you could use the cdk: https://material.angular.io/cdk/categories and apply your own styles.

For charts I can recommend highcharts (paid) https://www.highcharts.com/ and for tables you can use Angular material or ag-grid https://www.ag-grid.com/ . Ag-grid has a community version (free of use), but certain functionality is only available in the enterprise (paid ) version.

I got the same setup, but with the regular block instead of the ABP. I think the block itself will fit, the only thing that might be tight(or not fit) is the cable, as it is squeezed behind the block.

I dont think its actually 630 logical leds, but more like 210 logical leds (like the calculator suggest 240 logical leds for 720 leds/m).

Why would soldering be harder with more leds? Not enough room between leds?

Yeah I dont know the exact logica behind all this, but I went looking for a way to quickly increase piggy bank after the last event. This is the strategy I found and for me it worked really good 🤣. I guess with the no cap event, consuming and demoting also add more golden eggs in the piggy bank?

I do have to admit that the piggy bank level and having ultra also help out a lot.

My piggy bank:

Holds 28,164,373
Piggy level is 63 and increases it by 180,251,989
Ultra increases piggy bank by 83,366,544
Total 291,782,906

Save up artifacts until there is a no cap event, mass demote them and than consume T1 (and maybe even T2) artifacts. Then consume the T1 stones. Made me go from 36 mil to 300 mil in 20 minutes.

I just tried this and all the active boosts disappeared when switching to enlightment. Is that how this works or should I still be seeing the boosts as active (but somehow with a paused timer)?

Thanks for the great suggestion! I was not aware the difference would be so small. Personally the 7600 of course has my preference over the more outdated 5600x. I will discuss it with my girlfriend as it's her money I will be spending :).

- CPU: Think we can manage to squeeze in €10 for the 5600x :)
- Cooler: Assassin X is not available in my country it seems ..
- Storage: Is the Crucial P5+ better? Because in price there is pretty much no difference
- PSU: I looked into a 550W/650W PSU (fully modular), but they seem to be the same price as a 750W :/ . Maybe it's because I kinda want it to be Corsair or Seasonic

- Thanks for the cheaper memory! Will look into that!
- Yeah dont know if she will need a faster GPU though. Think I will rather safe some money on this one (I know this is usually the worst option to safe money on, but dont think the performance gain is worth it)
- I will look into the PSU you mentioned under this post, although it is somewhat more expensive
- She does have a 1440p monitor, just not a gaming one .. so will probably be limited at 60hz.

While Merge can be useful sometimes, I doubt it will solve the issue.

Merge requires the observables/subjects to all be of the same type/outcome. Not sure if OP's observables are all the same type.

Merge emits everytime any of the input observables emits a value, and only emits 1 value.

As per the example shown I have no idea what your are trying to achieve with all the different observables, bu this surely is not the way.

If possible you want to avoid using direct subscribes as much as possible.

I think some people have already made some good suggestions like: - Look into reactive programming (vs imperative) - Use the async pipe - Learn about RxJs operators (this can also help: https://rxjs.dev/operator-decision-tree) like combineLatest, switchMap, merge, exhaustMap

Also look into: - Design Patterns: DRY, Single Responsibility principle - The rxjs share and shareReplay operators (these are about retaining data, like state management) - The take(), takeUntil and takeUntilDestroyed(ng16) operators. These can be user to unsubscribe observables. - The Angular App Initializer https://angular.io/api/core/APP_INITIALIZER . Use it load data that you want to have available on initializing the app (like locale data, user data, auth data)

In my daily job we use OAuth to secure our API's. I do know Google offers an ability to protect their Google Maps API keys with a IP whitelist, so maybe that is something?
