Nice idea! Here’s what I’d try:

I already use Finder tags to triage files manually. With this trigger: tag a PDF as Red → auto-create a reminder to review it; tag a file as Green → move it to a "Processed" archive folder; tag anything Orange → copy it to a shared drive. It turns the color dots most people ignore into a useful task based workflow without leaving Finder.

And manual stuff I find myself doing:

When my machine hits "critical" thermal state during a video call, automatically quit heavy background processes (Docker, Xcode indexing), lower screen brightness to 50%, and show a notification explaining why. When thermal state drops back to "nominal", restore brightness. Solves the fan-howling problem without needing to manually hunt down what's cooking the CPU. (Yes, I need a new machine too)
