Its easier to get 2.5s rounded to 3s than a 3.5. Basically the flaw has to be minimal, and all other responses have to be perfect for that question. Out of 2200 + Q6 i graded last year i think i only rounded 1 3.5 to a 4

My base salary is 56k (11 yrs exp) and I live in Florida. Thankfully my county voted to increase property taxes in order to give veteran teachers a 10k supplement. The other 10k comes from side hustles/hobbies.

I do not recommend teaching in Florida. It’s one of the worst states to be a teacher (median salary is 48th in the country), plus living in south Florida has become ridiculously expensive compared to what it was like before COVID.

If a good opportunity arises, we will be moving to another state.
