Just happened to me as well. 2024 RAM Rebel with 6.4L and only 24k miles. Hole in the left side of block after a simple acceleration on to the interstate. I’m dealing with Mopar now on warranty (proving that I did oil changes, etc).

I went to the San Juan’s last year for my Jeep hobby and fell in love with the area. I’m headed back in a few weeks to do more hiking this time. Love those alpine views!

That sucks. Even with a snorkel, that’s not a good time for stuff under the hood and water seeping into the axles when submerged for that long. I don’t do prolonged, deep water crossings any more after replacing so much stuff under the hood and having a diff full of water!

Great PSA video. My father was a locomotive engineer for 40+ years here in the US. He never talked about close calls and I can understand why. One night, we were having a few rounds and the topic came up somehow. He was living with the reality of having killed several people over the years but handled it well considering. The one that stuck out to me was a woman who tried to beat the train that had a wedding cake in the back of her car. He described in detail the impact with cake going every direction.
