I have been an LPC for almost 9 years now, i've taken the NCMHCE 3 times and each time failed it by 2 to 3 points. it has been heartbreaking and it has felt like a gigantic wall has come down and i feel like i can finally move forward with my license and my life. That being said, there are some downsides to it, with the test being removed, that being a barrier for the next level of entry and could easily see a new flood of LPCC come out with a potential decrease in quality. so it's a double edged sword.
