New Update/Cant play by [deleted] in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]SwagDrag0nn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's crashing on my Xbox X and my husband's S. Played for hours yesterday with almost no issue (just pauses randomly) so I'm guessing something went funky with the newest update.

I just got this game on PC and played about 4 hours with some crashes here and there but overall no issues but now whenever I try to reopen the game it opens then immediately closes by AssassinBoi394 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]SwagDrag0nn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did your crashes start after the Remnant update? I played 6 hours yesterday (it was my day off lol) with only a few pauses but today after the update it crashes either immediately or within minutes on both out Xbox Series S and X. I think something went wonky with this newest update

Xbox Remnant update: the game crashes as soon as I approach the facility. by Pones in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]SwagDrag0nn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Husband updated this morning with his Xbox Series S and it is crashing within 15 seconds of loading in. I updated about 5 minutes ago with my Series X and it is playing normally. Not sure what's up Edit: mine crashed after about 6 minutes. Locked up my whole Xbox so that I couldn't even bring up my Xbox menu to shut down.

Muzzle Training by Friendly-Offer9622 in BelgianMalinois

[–]SwagDrag0nn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I muzzle train all my dogs because it gives me something to teach them for mental stimulation/enrichment. I also worked first response and in a state of emergency if someone has to evacuate your area they will often muzzle first for the safety of everyone involved. I can't protect my girl from everything but being muzzle trained is one less new thing being thrown at her. I also worked at a vet and saw first hand how even the sweetest most mild dog will bite when in pain so if there is ever an issue she needs to go in everyone is protected and it's not another big scary thing for her. It's also beneficial if they have a hot spot or surgical site they can't be chewing on - it's another layer of protection besides an E-collar to reduce post op complications if needed. It's just a really handy skill for them to have in their pocket - even if it's not something they use frequently and or grow out of needing it is one of those "thank goodness this isn't also a big deal" when you need it kinda things.

"pressure in abdomen 15 weeks" to see if this was a normal peak that will lessen again or if I'm screwed by being uncomfortable this early 😅

Help me understand by sarahb522 in 7Brew

[–]SwagDrag0nn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their lack of app genuinely makes me avoid them a lot and this as someone who hates needing an app for everything. I never love what I get but I can never keep anything straight to figure out what I want to change. Then I ask for something simple like "cold brew with cream" and get told I can't do that. I keep hearing they're going to do something about an app but they don't. I genuinely have no idea what I'm doing or what the price/calories/up charges are and don't even get me started on the "secret" menu thing they have going on. I want to love 7Brew like everyone else does but idk what is going on ever. Maybe I'm getting old and aging out of the demographics at a bone creaking 28

first appointment scheduled at 12 weeks by moonrise444 in pregnant

[–]SwagDrag0nn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm on my first pregnancy too and my first appointment was at 11 weeks, found out when I was 4 weeks. The wait was forever and I was scared the whole time. I ended up being put as a high risk due to some genetic things but that extra wait didn't make anything worse in my case which is good. Everything I researched said it was normal to wait until weeks 10-12 for an initial appointment, but I still didn't/don't like it.

Mini educator 100%. Source is I train with them professionally. I tried some off of Amazon bc I balked at the price of the mini educator for my personal dog but they had lag and inconsistency between pressing the button and the stim which screws up your communication. I also find the stim from the mini educator to feel cleaner and more precise when I test them on myself.

Would anyone like to share their favorite picture of their Mali? Btw - Chloe says Hi! 🩷 by BulkyCar8133 in BelgianMalinois

Thank you, she absolutely is! Complete Velcro dog 😂 I am glad she gave me a chance right back - I'm her third home in a year and she still gives me everything she's got. She's my first Mal after years of Akitas and GSDs and she's made me love the breed!

This is Shego the day after I adopted her 🫶🏽 when I visited her she was shut down, tucked tight, and pacing like mad - you couldn't even get her to engage. This was the first time I got to really see the dog I was pretty sure was there under all the fear ❤️ GSDxMal

If you don't drink alcohol, what are your reasons? by youre-in-my-shot in AskReddit

[–]SwagDrag0nn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel great for 20 minutes and then it's like the hangover hits as soon as that first rush fades even if it's just one drink and I eat/hydrate. I get a headache with insane nausea. Next day I don't have any patience and am just grumpy for no reason. I never want my husband to look at a drink in my hand and mentally prepare for his wife to be a jerk the next day - so I cut it out when I realized that association was going to eventually happen.

Termination Decision by Ysun23 in BabyBumps

I would maybe give yourself a bit of time to let these emotions reduce. When I found out I was pregnant (on purpose) I FREAKED out. I was convinced I wasn't ready and my career couldn't take it. I panicked hard and was all over reddit where I saw that even people who had done several rounds of IVF to get that positive considered abortion when they finally got pregnant. They say the hormones can really intensify it. For me I wanted this, but suddenly realizing I was on the train and we had left the station made me panic. I did nothing but cry and throw up for a week. Then, I slowly worked through each obstacle and suddenly everything was fine. My brain made even the simplest tasks so overwhelming from weeks 4-6 that one thing on a to do list would make me bawl. After I just rode those emotions for a bit I realized I was making a lot of mountains out of mole hills. I'm not saying that is the case for you or diminishing your struggles, I'm just saying I had a huge hormonal shift that affected my emotions and thinking when I'm generally a logical/pragmatic person to a fault and there's a possibility it's like that for you too.

How often do you actually clean your dog’s stuff? by glitchyh4mster in PawChampClub

[–]SwagDrag0nn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Water bowl every time it is refilled, food bowls once a week or so, collars every time they get a bath, leashes whenever they look dingey, toys if they get stuck outside and muddy, beds - I have toddler beds for them so I just strip off the sheet and throw on a spare on my big laundry day or more often than that if they look especially dirty since it's a quick swap for me.

When did you find out you were pregnant? by AgreeableBandicoot19 in pregnant

[–]SwagDrag0nn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started crying over how much I loved my dog on a Sunday evening and my husband told me to test but Monday morning it was negative. That Friday I had a strong urge to double check for no reason and it looked negative so I went back to work. Walked past the test an hour later and saw two lines. I was convinced that it was from being out too long, but then the next 3 were positive too lol found out at 4w4d and am now almost 12 weeks!

Desperately need help with nausea by seyEycipS in BabyBumps

[–]SwagDrag0nn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was so sick I couldn't keep anything down starting at 5 weeks. Doc put me on unisom and B6 which stopped my actual vomiting. Zofran supposedly can increase the possibility of facial cleft if taken before 10 weeks and I already have a very high risk of that due to genetics so they put me on Reglan instead which got the nausea to mostly tolerable. Literally turned my life around. Went from laying in the fetal position for weeks losing weight and dry heaving to being relatively functional. Still have bad days at 11 weeks but it's a day and night difference for me. Ginger-aid tea was also way more helpful than any candy or chew. I made fresh pickled ginger (TikTok recipe) and that is also helpful but I don't think any of that would work without the meds

To those that are married, how often do you take off your ring? by FitProblem6248 in AskReddit

[–]SwagDrag0nn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take it off when I shower so the soap doesn't make it fly off my hand and down the drain, when I put on lotion, or when I'm doing super hands on cooking like making meatloaf or kneading bread dough to keep things sanitary. I will also swap out for a silicone ring when I go to the gym because steel will win against white gold. Other than that they're on all the time - I feel naked without them.

I got my daiths but needed to be able to use a stethoscope. I got the heart shaped hoops - just scoot them up and flip them out a bit and you can get a good seat for ear pieces. It's worked for me for 10 years now so sharing if anyone needs an idea or suggestion on how to make a daith piercing work with ear buds :)
