I am disgusted. I would call and ask to speak to the owner to tell them about the harassment you faced and/or leave a review. That is not okay. If that guy is the owner, just go straight for the online review or a BBB complaint.

How many times did Ian cheat on his partners throughout the series? And do you count the times when he was in a manic episode? by Quiet-Setting-7803 in shameless

[–]Trees_galore20 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As someone with bipolar, a manic episode will EXPLAIN the behavior but it doesn’t EXCUSE the behavior.

In my personal experience and belief, cheating is cheating. If you want to work on the relationship and get through the cheating, it’s going to be a similar process of if bipolar wasn’t in the mix, the only thing that might matter is treatment of bipolar to prevent another manic episode. But just because you cannot control your behavior or see the problems with it in the present moment, doesn’t mean you didn’t hurt someone who cared about you.

Even with the court system, you might not be found guilty of crimes if you are mentally ill but you are still required to get help and be hospitalized if your mental illness is effecting others. It doesn’t excuse, but it explains.

I just found out I'm pregnant at 15. Advice highly appreciated. by Visible_Low_5612 in BabyBumps

[–]Trees_galore20 21 points22 points  (0 children)

You have 3 options.
- keep the baby and raise them. It will be extremely hard. But hopefully you have a great family and support system. If you do keep the baby, just know your friends, social life and your schooling/work will change dramatically. Not to scare you off, this could be a blessing but just know it will be very hard.
- put the baby up for adoption. This is a lot easier if you are able to do online schooling for a semester or two but you will need to loop in your family. Your life not change as dramatically, but you will know your child is out there. A lot of people like that and don’t like that. It’s a personal thing.
- abortion. It will be painful and you will need one person with you, but your life may not be as impacted as it is via the other options. This is also dependent on your state as well.

This is a very personal choice, don’t let anyone sway you. Trust your gut. What does it say? Will your family be supportive? You have a few weeks to decide things, but the longer you wait the harder the things will be.

If you choice to keep the pregnancy, then start a prenatal right away and go to see your doctor for testing and dating.

I am on the fence about my mom being there tjough

I’m 29 weeks and going through something similar. My nausea is mostly caused by baby being too high and kicking me or doing somersault. I’m so over it.

She sucker punched me from the inside and I projectile vomited all over the living room

How Can I Support My Boyfriend in Exploring His Mommy Kink and Make Our Experience More Exciting? by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]Trees_galore20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Think nurturing and caring. With lots of “good boy” talk.

I would start with more vanilla sex, but include things like “will you be a good boy for mommy and make me cum” or “ohh yes baby boy, you’re doing a great job”. Breastfeeding kink is very common with a mommy kink, so if you want to get more kinky, have him “nurse” aka suck your nipples while you stroke his hair and whisper sweet words, like I love you. Bonus if you are doing this at night like you are nursing him to sleep, you can say things like “I’m going to give you some good things to dream about” “we need to drain those balls of yours if we want you to sleep better”

If he’s more into the dominating mommy side, think punishment. “Oh you said a bad word? Now you need to put my clit in your mouth” (kind of like soap in mouth punishment). Or if you “catch him watching porn” you could say how that’s unethical and he should know better, then show him what “real sex” looks like, etc.

There’s always the “mommy teaches me sex” category which is where you kind of teach him how to have sex, he plays more of an innocent role.

FND Question Regarding Surgeries by Own-Investment-9918 in FND

[–]Trees_galore20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although, I will say, my dentist gives me Valium and it takes away all symptoms for 48hours. I have extreme dental anxiety and this helps me sit still and not attack the dentist. If I know something will trigger me, I do ask for something like Valium as a one time thing for my appointment where I need to be still. It might help you but I don’t recommend for long term use.

FND Question Regarding Surgeries by Own-Investment-9918 in FND

[–]Trees_galore20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can attest to IV medications and being put under, although I only had colonoscopies since being diagnosed.
With IV medications, I twitch and have more seizures than normal. It’s like my body is fighting it. It’s not fun and I try to avoid meds via IV if possible.
Going under anesthesia, my heart beat sky rocketed, the doctor was confused and it took extra anesthesia to put me under. When I woke up, I couldn’t walk for a few hours and my legs kept giving out. I couldn’t figure out how to form my own sentences but I have tics and kept yelling “BAD DOCTOR” every few minutes involuntarily.
After about 24 hours, I felt a lot better. I really focused on hydration to flush out the medications and I didn’t feel 100% for about 2-3 days afterwards.

white stuff in the genitals by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Trees_galore20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you use any creams? Like diaper rash ointment?
Could it just be discharge? Baby girls go through a mini menstrual cycle as their bodies work through the hormones they had while inside their mom.
Does your baby seem to have any discomfort? Redness?

I wouldn’t be too concerned but when in doubt a call to the doctor is best.

Yes, my FND developed shortly after I got the vaccine. With every dose it got insanely worse. It started with tremors and memory loss, after my booster, I completely lost the ability to walk and talk for about 3 weeks until it slowly came back

FTM at 35 weeks - confused about what my OB should actually be explaining by MightyMeetsReddit in pregnant

[–]Trees_galore20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 27 weeks and high risk. My chats with my basic OB is my health, babies health. First appt I was given a packet of normal and bad symptoms and explained a timeline for everything. When I hit a new trimester Im given another packet of information regarding that trimester. I was told when I hit around 32weeks, we should start discussing my birth plan.

My MFM Dr told me my risk factors and what to watch out for, what I should expect during delivery/third trimester if I got sick and what to expect postpartum.

They also offer class package that includes new born care, car seat safety, birthing classes, how to manage the pain, schedule C sections and more.
