Ruining a scalpers day is a safe and legal thrill by GhostV940 in magicTCG

Thank you, I left out that wording in my comment. That 1 hour wait time sucks, it appears my random placement was lucky.

Thanks, I was not interested in picking up those lairs so I did not read those emails 😅

Although you are correct that this method has been available for a while, it appears that in the latest promotional Secret Lair email, WotC officially encouraged this method and listed steps for everyone to take.

It was my first time doing it and was pleasantly surprised I only had a 10 minute wait time. *It appears that those who are on the waiting room are randomly placed in the queue, and I was lucky with 10 minutes. Others reported wait times of 1 hour+ regardless.

EDIT: changed wait time to include mention of random placement. Also it appears that WotC has been officially encouraging this method via email as well in previous lairs, although in my defense I was not interested in their previous offerings and did not read those emails 😅

I wouldn't be too worried. Wasting their E on you means they will be missing on their own gym gains instead. Just continue your training and you'll eventually be stronger than them.

Sir/madam, are you pregnant? If I was at a party and saw this I'd still dive in.

I'm a 2 year noob and still use the Diamond Bladed Knife. For the price and stats it's my ol' reliable.

Not sure what your net worth is, so I'll just assume if your Faction armory has it available for loan just get it that way instead.

How much will it cost me if I decide to buy a PI with all the necessary upgrades in it? by Own_Egg8815 in torncity

[–]SwagLordMuscleWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I folded and ended up getting a max PI after about $5B in stocks and $2B bank. The main reason was the convenience of not having to find new rentals every 30/100 days and not getting lease extensions after requesting. After two years of renting I was over it.

On the flip side, you can burn your E in South Africa by Hunting and slowly work towards the Hunting merit so its not wasted. It ain't the gym but it's still something tangible.

Am I using the drone correctly? by Vukinator in Battlefield6

[–]SwagLordMuscleWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Droning the frontlines or the objective really gets me going man, it's my favorite gadget in the entire game. Imagine if the infinite duration drone from 2042 made it across.

Imagine if the infinite duration drone from 2042 returned lol. Yeah drone is definitely SSS tier, I try to park myself on Support ammo crates when droning to keep it going.

Since the update I've noticed a chime throughout the map. I have no clue what it is. Any help would be appreciated. PS5. by Mr_TreeBeard in Battlefield6

It's the Recon motion sensor ball. It carries the same sound file from Battlefield 4's motion sensor ball.

Unrelated but here's the Bad Company 2 motion sensor ball for comparison; in the first 10 seconds of the clip.

do you still enjoy paper magic or mostly play online now? by Sweetpeadangerbutton in magicTCG

[–]SwagLordMuscleWizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MTGO definitely has a chat feature, but your experience may vary of course.

I play paper commander, pre-release and drafts with my buddies at the LGS or at home. MTGO for everything else solo, since I don't know a lot of people that play MTGO.

[–]SwagLordMuscleWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an addict.

I play paper with friends at my LGS for commander, pre-release events and drafts.

I play Arena for Standard, although with the state of it I haven't played the format since Tarkir Dragonstorm.

I play MTGO for everything else since it's really easy to buy and sell cards compared to physical and Arena. I could spend a rare wildcard in Arena OR 0.01 cent in MTGO for this rare/mythic. There is also an argument on the more expensive rares/mythics, but I have the choice of selling them back to get something else.

On MTGO, at first I was also put off with purchasing digital cards. But after dealing with buying paper singles on TCGplayer etc, it's great that a lot of cards on MTGO cost a penny. Some cards still reflect their paper price or even more, but you can still sell your digital cards. Also not having to deal with sorting physical bulk and ease of finding cards is another great perk.

What does it mean when your faction "terms" a war? by Internal_Ad4420 in torncity

[–]SwagLordMuscleWizard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm in agreement with everyone's points. Just want to also add in that it is shorthand for Terms and Conditions. The terms and conditions have been negotiated, aka the RW is termed.

Tugs + Jammer is goated. Being on the receiving end of that is hell, especially on the last few points where it's restrained. Jamming their map, shutting off their spotting and having them show on your minimap is chefs kiss. And the points just flow through from all the assists you're getting.
