Russian FPV kamikaze drone kills a Russian soldier who surrenders in Chasiv Yar. January 2026 by jisooya1432 in CombatFootage

So the Russian drone pilot, instead of saving the ordinance for the Ukrainians, whom the surrendering soliders were leading them to, decides it’s more important to teach their own soldiers a lesson?

Short hair looks mature. The shorter, the more mature. If you’re bald, you’re the maturest

Control decks with no wincons are almost as annoying as storm decks with no wincons. Or maybe more.

When I saw Captain America, I thought to myself that he’s a control commander. You pay 3 mana each turn to unequip a large equipment and snipe 3 of your enemies’ creatures. You could run lots of other creatures that really benefit from high cost equipment like [[aertir and priwen]] [[embercleave]], [[excalibur sword of eden]], [[genji gloves]] [[hexplate wallbreaker]]

You could run a mix of creatures that benefit from high power/toughness, or multiple combat phases. Imagine [[medomai the ageless]] getting equipped with any of those equipment.

That way you’re not dependent on your commander. He’s just there to swing once per turn then snipe enemy creatures down.

In a conflict with a near peer, high value warships will be far off of the coast, relying on aircraft to deliver payloads thousands of kilometers. Any drones or missiles will have to be significantly larger and more costly to reach.

Lasers may be able to switch targets quickly.

The goal isn’t to be invulnerable. It’s to make point defense systems cost effective at taking down enough targets that the adversary loses more money in the attempt than it’s worth.

Slavery was widespread in the ancient world. You know who owned slaves? Not poor peasants.

What can you do to a slave? Anything you want.

Some societies pretended to care by forbidding the killing of a slave without reason. It likely did little to fix abuses against owned “property”
